Terrible
Clunky, difficult to use and unnecessary. I am a Gen Z person who grew up using technology, and it truly makes no sense. Companies -- you are so much better off having employees simply being password protected. The two-step verification through Okta is unnecessarily complicated, buggy, and a waste of time and money for everyone involved. I have wasted literal HOURS trying to log-in to work websites with this nonsense. I have never left a review for an app or website, but this one was simply so bad I had to.

I am a disabled veteran with a tbi. I am not a drooling idiot. I have tried numerous ways to verify my account but this abomination is always denying my user name and password. build a simpler program, and take the current monstrosity and shred it! the DOD really messed up by getting this useless software as a verification program. id.me, login.gov were both very efficient and EASIER TO USE THAN THE GARBAGE THEY STUCK US WITH!
If you want to log in 23 times per day…
If you want to log in 23 times per day and get 9 pop-ups every time you do it?.... Okta is the application for you!
I was promised a coffee set in exchange…
I was promised a coffee set in exchange for scheduling and attending a meeting. I followed through and had the meeting with Nikki Middeljans, but after that, all communication stopped. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, I’ve been completely ignored and have not received what was promised.
Very disappointing experience — I would expect better follow-up and for commitments to be honored.
NEVER authorized any access
NEVER authorized any access, information or logins for any OKTA products or offerings. Illegal information harvesting and sharing, no authorization given, no way to remove information from their system, customer service hangs up because they know what they are doing is illegal. Submitted to CRTC and a few others for review.
absolute trash
My company uses this as a portal to other company sites and its complete shit. It doesn't tell you but you cannot sign into multiple devices at once, so if you sign into Okta on your laptop at home, the next day you try to sign in at work on your phone, you're screwed. You also aren't allowed to use your own authenticator app. You can only use their own proprietary authenticator. This company is a complete money grab.
Okta Verify - Awful app
Awful app. Used as a verification app. It stays "always on" in the background of your phone and doesn't shut down unless you ask it to. But the sneaky thing is, you have to go into the task manager to see that it's still on. Regular people don't do this every day so they will have this app on their phone running constantly. The first time I caught mine, it had been running 500 hours.
What it's doing I don't know, but it is always running in the background, burning your battery. Probably collecting all of your data so they can sell it.
I've messaged 'report a bug' within the app multiple times and have been ignored. All I asked them to do was shut the app down after verifying, just like all the other verification apps out there. But they refuse.
Worst customer service
I have contacted 8 different people and no one has ben able to assist in cancelling my subscription. This process started about 7 weeks ago and still not results from customer service. Email after email and no one assists. Several calls and no one assists. They keep harping to open a ticket in the portal. I can log in to the portal but they do not allow permissions to start a ticket. I am still on hold as I am writing this. I have been in IT for 30 years and this has been the worst experience. I would prefer to provide a rating of 0 not 1.
awful implementation
Another corporate non sense company…
Another corporate non sense company that can survive just because they have a bunch of corporate customers.
This has to be the worse portal I have ever seen. I can't find anything in there. There is a book mark section, and after 45 minutes trying to create a new bookmark, contacting IT to do so, and clicking on every single option in the interface, I GIVE UP. I will keep using 30 minutes to find the app I need every time. I opened this abomination. After 45 minutes, I managed to create an empty bookmark that does not show under the bookmark section and that points to nothing. GARBAGE software.
If you can't figure out an easy way to allow users to bookmark apps, then just remove the bookmark option... and probably hire a developer or try a different business altogether.
1 star is way too generous
1 star is way too generous. Awful app that drains your phone battery like a vampire. constantly makes you re-verify for no reason and then logs you out so when you try to log into your work account it asks for okta but to log in to okta you need to log into your work account. so damn frustrating.
Scam ?
I received an email from Direct Line saying thank
you for renewing.
When I opened it I was taken to Okta with Direct Line logos underneath.
They had the name account number and postcode already but to open any documents I had to strangely put in the account number and postcode. However, there were no documents available.
It’s either a very elaborate scam email or a very poor company representing Direct Line.
If that’s the case I won’t be renewing again.
To better serve the customer
To better serve the customer, they choice to not reply on support emails at all. Feels like reddit, where you have to find your own answer to the problem, just to find out there is no answer. Shitty company!
This app is just pain in the neck…
This app is just pain in the neck useless and couldn't use my new phone for this app ....
Awful
Awful, Okta is constantly saying my password is wrong when its saved in history. Such a waste of time. This happens once a week. I constantly have to waste ITs time bc of a terrible system.
I initially trusted this company due to…
I initially trusted this company due to their polished presentation and bold promises, but it quickly became evident that they were not what they seemed. Their processes lacked transparency, and every attempt to access funds was met with unnecessary obstacles and demands for additional payments.
The platform's withdrawal process is convoluted, and communication with their representatives is frustratingly evasive. What appeared to be a legitimate opportunity turned out to be a disappointing and costly experience.
Thankfully, I found a reliable team in my bio that helped recover a portion of my funds. This experience has taught me to approach such platforms with extreme caution. I advise others to thoroughly research before engaging with any company to avoid falling into a similar trap.
Okta Verify is awful
Okta Verify is awful. Does not work as intended. Repeatedly doesn't recognise me to the point it only accepts a pin that doesn't work. I usually have to reboot numerous times and waste valuable time, often over 30 mins to get it to work. So annoying that my company installed this.
I don’t remember signing up and found…
I don’t remember signing up and found my password was compromised in iPhone passwords. Tried to change my password but my login info is incorrect. ( saved to password but still it’s incorrect ) Clicked on forgot my password and it sends me back to the login page that won’t except my email and password. Basically no matter what I do I hit a dead end. By all indications this site is not legitimate or has been shut down.
