OK Mobility scamming late arrivals at…

OK Mobility scamming late arrivals at Malaga airport. Please note that the car rental company has informed us that you arrived at the local office after 22:30, which is outside the courtesy hours offered. Your reservation was scheduled for 18:30.
Therefore, after the four-hour grace period, a reactivation fee would have been required, as well as an upgrade to a vehicle available at that time, in accordance with the general terms and conditions of Ok Mobility
Please also note that, in order to obtain a refund for a prepaid booking, it must be cancelled before the start of the rental using the links provided in the voucher or through the “My Booking” section on our website. No refund is issued if the vehicle is not collected.

I strongly warn everyone not to use…

I strongly warn everyone not to use this company. I parked my car with them, and when I returned, they never showed up to pick me. Instead of taking responsibility, they lied to me, claiming, “We came, but you weren’t there.” I have clear WhatsApp evidence: I waited 80 to 90 minutes. Every hour, they told me to wait another hour. In the end, I had to pay for a taxi home, and the next day I took another taxi back to their lot. This total taxi cost was double what I paid for their parking service. Not only did they cause me financial loss, but they left me and my children stranded at the airport in the middle of the night, in the cold, until 3:30 in the morning. This caused me immense distress, both financially and emotionally. These people are completely untrustworthy and irresponsible. I urge everyone to stay away from them and never let this happen to you.

I am writing this review on behalf of…

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband, and I must warn everyone about this company. We trusted them to take care of our car, and instead, they left us stranded. They did not pick him up, and when we complained, they denied responsibility, falsely claiming he was not there. I have seen the WhatsApp messages as well; he waited for over 80 minutes. Every hour, they told him to wait again. In the middle of the night, we had to pay for taxis, doubling the original parking cost. My husband and children were left waiting at the airport in the cold until 3:30 a.m. This company caused us significant financial and emotional distress. They are completely dishonest and irresponsible. Please, do not trust them with your time or your family.

Stay far far away from this company,

the scams are very rehearsed and obvious, but new to look out for. They will inform you that the vehicle you booked is no longer available so they’ll offer you a subpar replacement then I previously booked insurance with Ryanair in booking.com they’ll inform you that your insurance is invalidated and you need to book their special insurance which costs twice the price of the vehicle. You are given two options to either leave a deposit of 2000€ (unheard of in every country that I’ve rented a car with) I think they do this so you decline and take their insurance however, I offered to use my credit card but it was just perfect that their card reader isn’t working that day for high transactions (they didn’t try to take my deposit) and insisted that they can only go through the route of booking with their insurance. If you try and say you do not wish to have the car they offer you, you cannot get a refund and they can legally keep your fully booking fee. Forcing you to go through with their scam from the beginning, they take you out to a far location away from the airport so you are left with no options to book another car.

When dropping off the car I was confronted with a very rude woman her name began with a M and had marks on her lips, she had a problem with me ever since I dropped the car off, she had pinched the fuel gauge and said that it’s company policey to have a absolutely full car when returning, I had provided a bank statement that said I had just refilled the car but she said that it’s policey to have a absolutely full car and she was upset about, and I’m not exaggerating 2kilometers that were missing and asked to go back and put one euro in the car to ensure it was full, she was very very rude she was calling us stupid for not understanding what she wanted and had a giant attitude and told us it was our fault for driving with the air conditioning on after refuelling, obviously we understood her but she was so outrageous we couldn’t take her seriously and just laughed which made her very mad which she informed us we could lose our deposit. The manager came out and told her to sit in the office. I wish I could post the video of our interaction because it was so outrageous, I think it would be so embarrassing for me to ever talk to someone about that. The manager sided with us because I had provided a picture that showed the petrol was not full and when we received the car and I want to also heavily emphasis to not book an electric car as in this island you need to register for a special key fob which needs to arrive. The company also does not charge the car at all and gives you zero charge when you book the car, however the electric vehicles are premium on their website.

Overall stay far far away from this company it is a rehearsed scam and I will be going through my credit card company and ombudsman to receive my money back.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with OK Mobility at Murcia Airport and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them.

When I made my booking, the latest collection time available online was 20:00. My flight was due to arrive at 21:00, but I had previously booked the same flight and rental through Ryanair in December and had no issue collecting the car when I arrived at 22:00, so I reasonably assumed this would not be a problem.

To avoid any issues, I contacted OK Mobility in advance by phone to explain my situation. I was told they could not help and that I would have to collect the car the following day. I then followed up by email explaining that I specifically needed the car for transport to and from the airport, but received the same unhelpful response.

Murcia is a very small airport with very few daily flights, so it is extremely frustrating that a car rental desk would not accommodate a flight arriving just one hour after their listed collection time. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails (around seven in total), I received no further replies. When I called again, a staff member confirmed they had seen my emails but could not explain why nobody responded.

As a result, I was forced to rent another car that evening for €50 just to get to my accommodation.

When I returned the next day to collect the car I had already prepaid (€134 for 8 days), I was then charged an additional €140 — €60 as a “reactivation fee” and €80 because my originally booked car was no longer available.

In total, I ended up paying significantly more due to their inflexibility and poor customer service, despite clearly communicating my situation in advance.

This experience felt very unfair and opportunistic. There was no attempt to help, no communication, and no accountability. I would not recommend OK Mobility based on this experience.

I rented a car for a week from…

I rented a car for a week from Barcelona Airport, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.

When picking up the car, there were additional hidden charges that made the rental twice as expensive. In addition, there was an extremely rude person at the counter. The behavior was so terrible that it left you feeling completely helpless and distressed.
The only bright spot was another new employee who tried to help.

I hope no one has to experience the same thing again.

Satisfying

I booked via a broker and normally at other car rental they want to sell their insurance and make a big thing. In this case it was all very smooth. Unlimited mileage as well which is not with all car rental companies. I would recommend them

Misleading information and no support left us with an unusable vehicle

I booked a rental via Booking.com, fulfilled by OK Mobility in Barcelona, and the experience has been unacceptable.

At pickup, I explicitly asked whether it would be possible to add a second driver later during the trip. I was clearly told this could be done via customer service. Based on this, I chose not to add the second driver at the counter.

During the trip, I became ill and was not fit to drive. We were travelling as a group of six, including a three-year-old child and an elderly person. Having another driver was not optional, it was necessary for safety.

After waiting more than 40 minutes to reach customer support, I was told that adding a second driver remotely is not possible and that I would need to return in person to Barcelona. We were already approximately 200 km away, making this solution completely impractical and unsafe.

I also requested escalation to a supervisor and was told none were available. Being unable to escalate an urgent issue during a peak travel period raises serious concerns about your support structure.

As only registered drivers are allowed to drive, the vehicle became unusable despite being fully paid.

This situation is the direct result of incorrect information provided at pickup, combined with rigid and poorly designed processes. The addition of a second driver is a standard paid service, which I was fully willing to purchase. I relied on your staff’s guidance and was misled.

Key issues:
• Incorrect and misleading information at the point of sale
• No viable solution offered by customer support
• Inability to escalate a critical issue
• Direct safety implications for passengers

I expect:
• A refund for the unused rental period
• Compensation for the disruption and inconvenience
• Formal acknowledgment of the misinformation provided

This experience has been extremely disappointing and falls well below acceptable standards.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with OK Mobility in Morocco.

We were required to pay a €3,000 deposit, which is extremely high to begin with. The car was returned in perfect condition, and this was formally signed off at the time—no damage, no issues.

Despite this, it has now been four months and we are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded.

Every attempt to follow up has resulted in vague responses and excuses, both over the phone and via messages. We’ve repeatedly been told to “relax” and that it will be processed soon, but nothing has actually happened.

Holding such a large amount of money for this long, with no clear resolution or accountability, is completely unacceptable.

I would strongly caution others before renting from OK Mobility, especially if a large deposit is involved.
