I normally don’t post things like this, but this experience deserves to be shared.
I placed an order with Oceanus on January 13th for a bikini I specifically bought for my honeymoon. I ordered it almost 3 months in advance to avoid exactly this kind of situation.
From the beginning, communication was slow and unclear. I had to follow up multiple times just to get updates. At one point, I was told it would ship on March 16th, but there was no real confirmation or transparency along the way — just repeated apologies and “we’ll get back to you in 24–48 hours.”
As my trip got closer, I made it very clear that I was leaving the country on April 2nd, and that if the item wasn’t shipped in time, it would completely miss its purpose. Despite this, the order still wasn’t handled with any real urgency.
The bikini ended up arriving one day after I had already left the country.
Trying to salvage the situation, I paid for an Uber so a friend could collect the package and send it to me in Brazil. The package arrived sealed… and when I finally opened it after all of this — only the bottom piece was inside.
No top. No explanation.
After months of waiting, constant follow-ups, extra money spent out of my own pocket, and missing the entire purpose of the purchase… this is what I received.
This has been one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I’ve had. I am now still chasing a resolution and a full refund.
Just sharing in case anyone is considering ordering — this has been my experience.
Purchase a bikini 9 days ago and I am still yet to receive any correspondence regarding the orders dispatch.
I would have expected to have received the items by now and yet nothing.
Do NOT purchase if you have a holiday coming up soon and need it within a reasonable timeframe.
Looks like this order will not be traveling with me and possibly not receiving. Any update would be greatly appreciated.
beautiful brand and 10/10 customer service
I rarely do this, this is actually my first time doing this, but I feel like people deserve to know about my experience.
I’ve admired this brand for years, so when my fiancé surprised me with a bikini from them, I was genuinely over the moon. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Our order was completely mishandled. we received our item, PLUS a dress that was meant for a bride with a time-sensitive wedding. We immediately tried to help fix THEIR mistake, even going as far as looking into overnight shipping options from the U.S to Canada to get the dress to her in time. The cost to overnight it was around $400, which we communicated to them. My fiance waited at the ups store for a few hours, waiting on their horrible customer service to reply over WhatsApp. I was out of town. He just wanted his Friday to start after working all day.
They were completely fine with my fiancee paying that cost to correct their error. But the moment we told them cost and asked them to cover it, they suddenly decided it was “too expensive” and instead chose a slower, cheaper shipping option the following Monday which resulted in the bride not receiving her dress in time for her wedding.
On top of that, the swimsuit we actually ordered arrived with glue residue all over it, and the colors of the beads did not match the picture online that we ordered I had to go out and buy a goo remover myself just to make it wearable. So much for a luxury brand experience right?
We spent our own time coordinating, communicating, and trying to clean up a situation that should have never been our responsibility in the first place.
And after all of that? Their resolution was a $40 store credit.
For a situation involving a luxury-priced item, multiple errors, added expenses, and hours of our time, that response felt honestly insulting. This isn’t about getting something for free it’s about accountability, basic quality control, and respecting your customers when you mess up.
their customer service is clearly outsourced overseas, making communication slower, more difficult, and far less accountable throughout this entire situation.
I truly wanted to love and continue supporting this brand, especially with my own wedding and events coming up, but this experience has completely changed my perception.
Just a reminder: how a company handles their mistakes says everything.
Ps. I did end up paying $20 to pack the dress and ship it. Even with their prepaid shipping label, I’m still in the hole for their mistake. So really their credit is worth $20 cause they never refunded me for that either. I just wanted to do everything I could to get that bride her dress, I felt horrible for her. It was a $1600 dress.
Swimwear is really nice but the sizing is inconsistent . I’ve bought a few suits from here and the Medium was too big, but the large I could barely get on it was so tight. Either mislabelling or poor production . For the price you pay this shouldn’t happen
designs look nice but that's as far as it goes, terrible customer service after they sent the wrong size and only beaded on the front not the back as the pictures show. sent the complete wrong size, after a month of emailing them they sent me the return address where they wanted me to pay for tracked postage to the USA one day before the 30 day return period was up. in summary what was the right size had a terrible fit, false advertising with the quality and extent of beading and horrible customer service. I have sent 6 emails of the space of a month, they take at least 6 days to reply if they reply at all.
Had some delays but the team were amazing at making sure the issue was put right.
I bought a bikini as a birthday present for my sister and she absolutely loves it !!! Seeing her reaction made it worth every penny. I have an Oceanus bikini already and we will be rocking them in Ibiza this summer!
Great experience and appreciated the advice in store! Wife really appreciated the gifts
The quality of the swimwear is luxurious and it feels special. I ordered it for a boat party and felt a million dollars. So glad I ordered it in advance
Took a while to come but was definitely worth the wait!
Delighted with my order and arrived super quick
Friendly, polite and well experienced staff. Love this fashion house and their collections!
I bought the Nerissa Asymmetrical Midi Dress for my summer holiday. It just arrived and wow I love it! The quality is so soft and flowy. It’s going to look beautiful for my trip to Bali. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
Absolutely obsessed with my dress! It’s an investment piece 🙏 It took a little while to arrive but it was made to order as stated in the website!
Ordered a really beautiful dress and was not disappointed when it arrived. Such amazing details.
Avoid this company at all costs!!!!
Yes, on social media they look great, but in reality it’s the complete opposite. I returned my item at the end of January with proof. They even confirmed receipt and promised to send an exchange ASAP.
Now, over 2 months later after several emails, messages, and repeated promises still NOTHING. Every response comes from a different person who clearly hasn’t bothered to read or check previous communication.
I have contacted them almost weekly, and twice they assured me it would be resolved and the item shipped yet nothing has been done. No exchange, no refund, just endless delays and copy-paste responses.
Producing abroad is no excuse for treating paying customers like this, especially considering the high prices.
This is by far and I mean BY FAR the worst customer service I have ever experienced. A company that refuses accountability and breaks its commitments is not trustworthy! At this point, it honestly feels like a scam.
Save your money, and especially your time and energy.
Stay far away.
I just received my gorgeous set! Worth the wait, the intricacy and detail that goes into each of these pieces, deff a show stopper
