I am a firm believer of judging the customer service of a company when things go wrong, which will happen to the best of companies occasionally. That is incidetally the only time I give reviews as it is easy to score well when things go fine. Dan at Oakwood went out of his way to assist me recently after I had purchased a Napolean bbq grill in readiness for a family occasion the following weekend. Although the item was believed to be in stock, it as later found it wasn't due to what was identified as a bug in their new order processing system. By this time it was past closing time and Dan said he would investigate first thing in the morning once his management were back in and he said he would ring at 10am on the Sunday. 10am sharp he contacted me with some options, and I selected the already built demo model that I had checked for assembly quality the previous day when I was comparing build quality between brands and ranges. Although they don't deliver on Sundays, Dan made an exception in our case, even though I lived an hour away and I wasnt a regular customer, this was my first purchase. The evening before, Dave the warehouse manager also spoke to me to explain and apologised for the inconvenience. By noon on the Sunday I had received delivery of the bbq by Zohaib and Umair who were not only polite and couteous, they sited the bbq in the garden for us, having had to carry a very heavy bbq over a deep gemravel drive. They also checked my gas cylinders and showed me how to test them when low. All in all, they went out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction and I really appreciated that. Thanks again Oaktree team, you have a new loyal customer as that had been my first visit to Oaktree. I found your personal touch to be far superior to other larger garden centres with similar ranges in the vacinity. Thanks Alan

I recently visited Oaktree looking for a new BBQ. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a wide selection of BBQ brands including Outback, Weber, and Napoleon. Darren was incredibly helpful, offering insights and assistance that made my decision-making process much easier. His expertise and friendly service significantly enhanced my shopping experience.

I also made a quick stop at World of Water to pick up a gas bottle for my new BBQ. The service there was equally commendable, making my entire outing seamless and enjoyable. Both stores provided exceptional customer service and had exactly what I needed. Thanks to Darren and everyone involved for such a fantastic experience. Apprehensive about ordering garden furniture online. Really shouldn't have been! Exceeded my expectations! A fluid experience from ordering to delivery. A phone call from a delightful lady to confirm a delivery date. Furniture extremely well packaged, and a visible notice on the side to inform that the protective covers were inside. Phew! Everything arrived in perfect condition. A long drive for the delivery driver and a very early start, but still he was friendly and professional. Since have ordered an additional cover, and yet again quick, and efficient service and another super friendly delivery man. Thank you one and all! No hesitation in recommending Oak Tree Garden Centre.
