After ordering my corner garden furniture at the ideal Home Show in November 2016 I took deliver in February 2017. I had a piece missing and the lady in the office was incredibly rude to me when I questioned when it would be arriving. After a long process I finally got the last piece and have been happy with it up until March 2020 when the covers came off I noticed the colour was coming off the backs and arms of all the chairs. Also the rattan table with the glass top is already breaking up a few pieces of the rattan under the glass have snapped leaving me with a damaged table. I paid well over £1000 for this set and I feel it should last more than 3 years and now I have no comeback. . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY OAKITA FURNITURE, IT’S POOR QUALITY AND CERTAINLY NOT MADE TO LAST.

This company went into liquidation on 14th November and should have ceased trading with immediate effect. However, I was unfortunate enough to order a dining room table from them on 1st December at the Good Food Show, NEC, Birmingham - 2 weeks after they should have ceased trading. I am getting no response from the company whatsoever so will now be pursuing the matter through the liquidator (Engin Faik) and through whatever legal channels I need to.
Great Product shame its a Rubish Company

Ordered and paid in full for a table & chairs over £3500 in March 2017. They agread to hold delivery untill October as we were having building works. Called repeatedly thru Nov into Dec trying to arrange delivery, only ever getting an answer machine. Tried email still with no responce. Eventually a message was left on my home number (even though I had repeatedly asked them to call my mobile as I am rarely home) saying the items were due into the country mid december. I was under the impression that having paid in full the items should already have been made and be here awaiting delivery. I tried to call them again still only getting the answer machine. I emailed again asking them to call my mobile with any update. NOTHING. Then another message on the home phone saying delivery would be on the 21st Dec before midday. Yep you guessed it no delivery or an kind of communication by midday. I called and emailed six times, still only an answer machine.

Ray offered a £200 goodwill discount but as I just didn't want them at any price we agreed a refund. They collected Tuesday, I tried contacting about the refund Thursday and Friday, to be told today they are in liquidation and to contact my credit card about the refund. So they've got my money AND my furniture.

TAKE GREAT CARE IF BUYING AT A SHOW ! I purchased a combined order for Milan Corner table and Venice Loungers at the Hampton Court Flower show in July and paid nearly £2000. The idea being to use the furniture in the summer. At the time of reviewing (Oct) the company has still not delivered the Venice Loungers. The company have not maintained any contact with me about the delay, unless I took the initiative and have provided a relatively minor refund based on an elapsed promised delivery date of September . Today the company refused to even speak to me when I asked about a full refund or let me speak to a senior member of the company. If you are buying at a show take great care as although the furniture is clearly good quality I am experiencing delivery issues and very poor customer service.I did not envisage they meant Summer 2018 !
Appalling customer service
Purchased Milan rattan dining set at Hampton Court Flower Show along with a king size parasol. Order was delivered after two weeks although the parasol was missing. Rang Oakita who advised that it was out of stock and that they were due a delivery and I should have the parasol within two weeks. Two weeks later, no parasol had arrived so I phoned the company again and was given the same information. At this point I requested and was promised a refund. Two and a half weeks later and four subsequent phone calls, I had still not received a refund. At this point I contacted Barclaycard who sorted out a refund for me.
Am happy with the furniture but this company's customer service is appalling. I will not be buying from them again.
8 Weeks and Still Waiting...
We ordered our garden furniture at the Grand Designs Live Show at the Excel in London. When purchasing we were told we could expect delivery within 2 weeks. We got home and looked at our receipt and delivery date was between 2 and 4 weeks.
Due to a supply difficulty, we received the furniture just over 5 weeks later. Unfortunately, we only received half of our order. We were promised the remainder of our order 1-2 weeks later. Nearly 8 weeks after we ordered, we are still waiting for the rest of our delivery.
Whilst the quality of the product is faultless, it's a shame I cannot say the same for their customer service. Not once have they been in contact to tell us when we can expect to receive the rest of our paid for goods. We have had to call them on a number of occasions to chase this up and here we are still waiting.

We couldn't recommend enough. Ive read some of the other reviews and can only imagine the issue they refer to are trivial or un just. Our experience was great and we highly recommend.
OK Product. Very Very Very Poor After sales
I have a Madrid 10 Seat Rattan Table and Chairs and Paris Rattan Sofa Set. The products themselves are reasonably for the money and do indeed look good. The covers were useless, broke and have worn the furniture. Also some of the Rattan is either breaking or coming unwound. I have been trying to resolve since May 2016 and other than three email responses have had lots of promises but no action and its now Dec 2016 Sorry but that is pathetic and shows that they do not care about after sales and their warranty cannot be worth the paper it is written on or if it is they won't assist you anyway. So if you buy their products pray you don't have a problem.

Not recommended at all . We bought dining table when is arrived we didn't like chairs. I ring them and ask if we can have another chairs. The lady was rude and said it's going to cost another £400 .That's ridiculous.
Impressed
Not only has the solid oak table and chairs looked absolutely fab since 2011 when we bought them but in a recent move, we took the legs off the table and lost a couple of the bolts. I rang and enquired after the possibility of buying replacement bolts. Not only did they send us a whole packet of them, but they would not let us pay for them. Well done oakita. Where do you get service like that.
5 star service and products!
I saw your products online when searching to buy new garden furniture and knew straight away this is what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed.
Via email to Karolina I chose individual items rather than a standard set and this consisted of 2 Venice chairs, coffee table and 2 footstools. I ordered on the Thursday and they were delivered on the Saturday morning, amazing speedy and helpful service right down to the delivery driver.
The furniture itself is superb! Excellent quality and looks fantastic in my garden. I knew I had chosen correctly despite not seeing it 'in the flesh' so to speak. I am one happy lady right now! Thank you all at Oakita. Will definitely recommend you guys.
Poor post-sales service
I bought an all-weather rattan-effect glass-topped garden table and chairs - about £600 worth. Looks very nice and was delivered promptly without any problems.
When it gets hot, the glass tabletop obviously focusses the heat and warms the (plastic) rattan tabletop underneath, causing the weave to sag where there are not supports underneath. This looks really bad, like the table is badly warped. When it cools down it goes back to normal. Obviously I'm more likely to use the table during hot weather so this is a problem for me and as far as I'm concerned it's a design fault.
I contacted their service people and they fobbed me off despite repeated requests to let me know what they'd do about it. Now they're just ignoring my emails.
As with so many companies, as long as everything is right with what you order, you should have no problem. But you have to just hope you never need to ask them to fix any issues because then they're really not interested.
No Reply About My Order.
I made an order for a set in the The National Home-building & Renovating back in April, I called mid May and was told that I would have a call in the week as the set was being picked up to get ready for delivery in the week. Over 2 weeks latter no update, I have called a number of times and it goes to a message services. They have not replayed back to me about our order, we made for payment on the 17th April by card so will be looking at calming this back if we have not had a reply soon.

Very happy with my new furniture!
We bought the King Parasol to go with the Turin corner sofa set and I'm extremely impressed with the quality and the price. Elsewhere were selling similar parasols of lesser quality at a much higher cost at around £600-800. In short, I can't fault Oakita, they've been excellent through the whole process.

I have just received delivery of my 'Amber horse shoe rattan sofa set' and it not only looks amazing on my patio it is extremely comfortable and well made. I have been looking for some time for a sofa set and the Amber set certainly has the wow factor I've been looking for, I can't wait to now have some friends over and christen it with a few drinks 😊. Oakita have recently launched slate grey as a new colour for 2016....i'm so glad that I've bought my set early this year and strongly recommend slate grey its stunning. Oakita have great products at fantastic prices, I will certainly buy additional furniture from Oakita. I was called a week before delivery, given a reasonable delivery window. The drivers arrived on time, put the furniture where I wanted it and all staff involved in my buying experience were very friendly, helpful and polite from start to finish. This is the first time that I've ever left a review for any company, but credit where credits due, thank you Oakita! 👍
Excellent service and speedy delivery
Got delivery of my Large Royal Oval Rattan Dining Table Set with 6 Carver Chairs. Wow I only ordered it last Saturday and they delivered it today at 4pm. Checked for marks and scratching (I'm a bit fussy) no marks no scratches absolutely faultless. So happy.
