It really does not get any better than Oak Dental Care. Dr. David Tsang leads brilliant staff from the Reception to all the Dentists working here. I cannot recommend the all highly enough. Beyond Billiant!

Was under the litherland practise for a number of years going twice a year. Then i lost two very close family members and i had to cancel my appointment. When i remembered to call back i found out i had been removed without any warning or notice. I tried explaining to practise manager who lacked sympathy and understanding. Was told i could go on a waiting list. I had been going twice a year prior without any problem. They were more than happy taking mymmoney then!! Absolutely disgusting that they are getting away with it.

Abrupt receptionist very keen to take payment in advance, could do with customer service training as did not listen. Professional treatment from dentist. Dental hygienist polite and informative but teeth were not polished, (unless you count a slight dab of paste on some teeth) and don’t feel clean.

Had my tooth taking out by David who is so lovely and was talking me though each step of the way and his dental nurse abi was so lovely aswel kept asking if I was I ok both of them are brilliant at there jobs

I cant thank them enough for today have a terrible fear of needles and holly was absolutely brilliant along with her dental nurse thank you for a pain free filling

Been coming to David for a while now, his treatments are always painless and visiting the dental practise your welcomed and put at ease as a nervous patient I don’t feel none of this when coming.

I recently attended Oak Dental Ormskirk as a new patient with my daughter, I can’t praise the practice enough for their efficiency and compassion towards me and my daughter who has autism.

We were seen by Dr D Tsang whose manner is exceptional!! So professional, as was his nurse Krista (I think).
They were able to accommodate me for further treatment at a time that best suited me.

This practice really is excellent and nothing is too much trouble!

I have been attending this Practice since the mid-late 80's. At that time, I was seen by 'Judith' who was later to choose to leave. Dr. David Tsang became her replacement, so I was fortunate enough to be put straight onto his 'list' and have been to date, (October 13th '23). ,

As a much younger person (60's onwards) my parents took me to the local Dentist. I really didn't like this man and always dreaded my visits to him. Once out of school and into employment, I chose to stop going to him in favour of 'no pain'. It therefore became years before I needed any Dental care. Early '80's I was told that a new Dentist had taken over. Such a brilliant Dentist (Dr. Rob Clipston) who completely restored my faith.

Now with David Tsang, I have always enjoyed pain-free dental work. His injections are painless, after which he carries out his 'Craft' with pure accuracy. Nothing is too much trouble, and he is always 'there' if I need more immediate work between check-ups.

Whilst I'm able to (!!), he's also great to chat with, making the whole experience far more pleasant than certainly I've ever known.

Dr. Tsang is now one of two Directors there so for me, this Practice is in very good hands. It would be wrong to not say a word about David's Assistant - Richard. There have been others before him but 'Rich.' is his 'right hand man', with an air of Richard knows what he wants before David asks. They are therefore a great team.

The Reception staff appears to have had a few changes too. They are equally as good, 'fronting' the Practice, doing all they can when things need to be more immediate for their Patients.

Overall and for many years now, this Practice has been first class even though there's been a few changes, which I believe has been for the better. Sadly, we must all understand that certainly since Covid, this necessary and highly skilled Craft has lost too many staff members to other posts, who are not being replaced as quickly as the loss. Patients therefore need to be 'Patient' when trying to book an appointment.

All that said, I cannot fault Oak Dental Care from the moment you call them to the point when you leave, with any issues sorted as quickly as possible. I'm sure the other Dental Practitioners are all good at their respective career choices which is why Oak Dental is where you should go for any dental work.

Have been a patient since 2020.

Had a review back end of 2022 and tooth not causing any problem.

Abscess started around March 2023, so I call and spoke with an abrupt receptionist.

I asked if I could see a dentist as my tooth was causing pain. Six weeks would be the earliest was her reply.

I explained I am going to need root canal and crown or a dental implant asap.

Abrupt receptionist, you will have to see the dentist on your appointment.

I had to get antibiotics from another dentist, other than OAK dental.

I wait and see a dentist on my appointment, she tells me it’s her husband that does the implants so make an appointment at the desk to see him. The antibiotics had removed the abscess so at the time it wasn’t an issue.

The reception was full of people waiting to talk with receptionist, so I called back in two days later. I explained my tooth was now starting to be painful and I needed to book an appointment for an implant and more antibiotics.

Abrupt receptionist, well we don’t have anybody doing implants, it’s just somebody who comes in and that might be July, but we don’t know yet.

So, i asked about my denplan, if I have to move dentist does that move with me, yes that’s probably the best thing to do was her reply.

If they don’t have implant service, they should have said in my review earlier in the week.

Communication is poor at best, I tried emailing reception for two years, never got a reply.

I personally would not recommend this dental business to anybody, there is no care, its just a business.

After consulting denplan, her advice was wrong, the denplan contract with existing dentist ends and a new one is taken out with denplan via a new dentist.

Please do not go to Oak Dental Care Ormskirk, been waiting nearly 2 years to have my wisdom tooth removed, only to find out I wasn't referred from the start, have spoken to staff there regarding this, never had a phone call returned.
Lucky I have explained this to the dental hospital who have agreed to see me.
Just noticed it cost me £4.67 to Oak dentist

Usual sleight of hand with regards to NHS patients registered pre-Covid; contacted several times for arranging routine examinations, but told of delays due to Covid etc and would be contacted in due course. Now informed that as I haven’t attended for 3 years, not for want of trying, I have been removed from their books. So firstly, will be going privately elsewhere and secondly have made a formal complaint to the relevant authority.

I have been with Oak Dental Care for many years and have always had a great service from all staff including girls on reception and dental nurses. Last year I had dental work done by Daniel Patcher at Ormskirk, I had 5 veneers and a bridge, plus whitening and a gum shield. Nothing was too much trouble for Dan and his nurses who are always professional, polite and friendly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My family and friends loved my new teeth, so much so many of them have had similar work since done by Daniel, so there is no better recommendation than that . Thank you Daniel and team

I have been a patient here for over 5 years. I found it by chance, and I'm glad I did! Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They always make sure you are comfortable, and explain the procedures to you. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who needs a dental care.

I have been a patient with Oak Dental Care for over 10 years now and I can’t rate them highly enough. All the staff are super friendly and they put you straight to ease as soon as you walk through the door. Nicola Parr my Hygenist does a first class job to my teeth.
I recently had two implants by Dan, again first class treatment, I love my implants and Iv got my smile back.

I had a dental implant to replace a baby tooth that was deteriorating and had no adult replacement. I was advised of my options at Maghull Oak dental and they advised a consultation with Daniel at the Ormskirk branch. Daniel was brilliant at every stage of the implant process. I am extremely happy with the outcome and it feels and looks just like a natural tooth. I would recommend dental implants with Daniel to anyone who needs it.

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with the treatment I have received over the past 12 months by Dan Pachter at Oak Dental Care in Ormskirk, I am absolutely delighted with the results!

I have always had crooked front teeth but they were twisting more as I got older and, as I was 65, really didn’t want to go through the process of having braces.

Dan did 3 composite laminates which gave a smooth appearance and I am now more than happy to smile again, I hadn’t even thought this could be done, I am so very grateful to him for his matching of colour and expertise in his work!

I also had a tooth which was causing me pain, apparently the root was really close to a nerve, my dentist suggested I explore the possibility of having a dental implant, this was the solution, so I had the tooth extracted and replaced with an implant.
The whole process was pain free, appointments well organised, colour match perfect and I’m again delighted with the result.
I can now eat and drink without pain and I would recommend Dan if you are considering an implant.

He is very honest and gives sound professional advice too!
My dentist advised me to see him about another tooth I was having a problem with, suggesting I may need another implant.
Dan x-rayed the tooth, found the root to be good and suggested we save the tooth and crown it rather than insert a dental implant.
He wanted to save my tooth! (Other dental surgeons may have thought differently!).

I can only say a huge thank you to Dan and all the staff at Oak Dental Care in Ormskirk, the staff are so welcoming and helpful and put you at your ease, as did Dan, he is a wonderful dental surgeon who I wouldn’t hesitate to see for future dental work - thanks for your professionalism and amazing expertise, you truly are a very talented dental surgeon!

Being an idiot and a bit of a chocaholic I ate a choccy bar straight out the fridge, dont do it as this resulted losing a crown of one of my front teeth.

I went to Oak Dental In Maghull who explained the alternatives and suggested I went to see Daniel in Ormskirk. Daniel again explained my options and I decided on an implant.

I have now had the implant a number of months,it feels like and looks like a normal tooth and my self confidence has returned as I can smile normally and eat anything I like,not choccy out the fridge.

I would recommend this treatment at Oak Dental by Daniel to family and friends without hesitation
