People in the shop knew and they told me I was right as somehow there was some tecnical problem for which wifi was never activated at my place. now they want me to pay until 2025 even tought I am getting no service and as I am refusing to pay they want to sue me!!!

Big mistake! I had a two year contract with them and had problems along the way. Now that my contract is extended, they instead made a new contract without informating me. Customer care calls are not going through, I am left with a homespot device that is not able to connect to any of my devices. Interestingly money is already booked from my account already. My question is for what service? I am not surprised for the experiences and bad reviews from other customers. Who is going to save us from this disaster..

One of the worst companies I have ever seen. Ordered a contract for 2 years for home internet, 2 months later they still havent activated it and keep canceling technician appointments. Refuse to cancel my contract because its a 2 year contract and the 14 days of canceling already passed even though my internet didnt work even for 1 day during this time. Shame on a country like Germany to have this kind of company.

STAY AWAY FROM O2!!!!!! I am beyond frustrated and pissed with O2. I wanted to see how much left I owed for the iPhone I purchased through O2 online the app and accidentally pressed the button that cancels my monthly payment, because the app is only in German and my mother language is English, and makes it to where I have to pay the full amount. I called O2 and spoke to a representative within the two week time period to reverse that transaction so that I’m still paying my iPhone off in payments. He confirmed that he changed that for me and that I won’t be paying the full amount of the phone off and that I will be paying it off in payments like I was before. I then continue to check my O2 app to see if it has changed back to where I make monthly payments and it still hasn’t changed and says I have to pay the full amount. So I call the English line and speak to another representative and he checked to see if the first representative made the change and he did not make the change like he promised he would. So the second representative told me he was going to get a hold of the finance department and make my case too priority and that he would contact me the same day or the next day. I never got a call back in 3 days or so. I then call again trying to get into contact with this same person I talked to but i was told be was busy and that he would call me in 30 minutes. I waited and waited and he didn’t not call. So I call again and wait to talk to someone to ask if he is available and he was not and the representative who was trying to transfer me to the 2 representative I talked to before told me that he ,3rd representative, could help me. I told him this entire story again and he called the finance department and spoke with them again about my situation and they agreed that the first O2 representative made the mistake and didn’t cancel the abzalung and that I had called within the 2 week period and that they would cancel the Abzahlung and I wouldn’t have to worry about them taking the money out of my account and I asked him multiple times to make sure that O2 wouldn't take the money out of my account and he told me that they would NOT take the money out and that I will see on the app that I will be paying my iPhone in payments on the next billing period and I had nothing to worry about. About a week or so later I get an email from O2 with the new contract stating that my iPhone will be paid in payments like I had asked for. So I figured everything was ok. I continued to check my O2 app every day to see if they made the change and it never changed and I check my back account today and see that O2 charged me the full amount of the iPhone €1035 euros and now I have negative €400 in my bank account. I called them after they took this money out of my account and they told me they couldnt do anything about it and to email their help center. So I did and didn't get a response back until a week later and they offered me a payment plan so I have to pay off the 1035 euros in 4 months. Thats it. They didn't say sorry for the inconvenience, we will help figure this out... NOTHING I hope this review helps people stay away front this terrible company.

They are so nice when they sell you something: "you will be able to keep your current phone number, I will make sure you do and you will have nothing to do".
Then after 2 weeks without the ability to use my current phone number anymore, I call the support and they say "ah you want to keep your old phone number? well you have to fill in this form"

The worst company I have seen. I was with Vodafone and cable internet was much much better nothing to compare. You cannot rely on them also to fix it. I cancelled my contract after 1 month.

Horrible company. I canceled my Flex subscription at the end of October (confirmation by e-mail). I even called support right after my cancellation to make sure everything would be done. They told me it was all set and that my contract would end at the end of November. Now all of a sudden it didn't came through and after a horrible phone call I got the blame for not cancelling the right way. Now the contract will be ended at the end or January. This means I have to pay for 2 extra months. What an awful way of communicating!!!

It’s the worst mobile company ever, I’m not even living in Germany and they still take money from my bank account after I told them many time to deactivate it and have sent them many many may many documents to quit their contract. DONT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY! The connection is also very bad.

I’ve been a customer of o2_de for quite some time and felt compelled to share my recent experience, particularly regarding a contract extension that was handled in a manner I found quite misleading.
Misleading Contract Extension: My primary grievance revolves around a phone interaction I had with an o2 sales representative last year. During the call, the representative persuaded me to extend my existing contract. What was troubling about this interaction was the manner in which it was conducted. The salesperson assured me there would be no adverse consequences to extending my contract. However, it became evident later that this extension barred me from accessing better plan options that were available online.
Lack of Transparency and Benefit: The extension of my contract was executed without providing any tangible benefits or improvements to my existing plan. It was presented as a routine procedure, yet it effectively locked me into terms that were not in my best interest. The lack of clear, transparent communication and the absence of any real advantage to this extension were disappointing.
Impact on Trust: This incident has significantly impacted my trust in o2. It’s concerning when a sales strategy appears to prioritize closing a deal over the genuine interests and needs of the customer. I expected more straightforward, honest communication, especially regarding contract terms that have long-term implications.
Call for Change: I am sharing this review in the hope that o2_de takes note of such practices and implements changes to ensure more ethical and transparent interactions with their customers. It’s crucial for a service provider to build and maintain trust, particularly in an industry as competitive as telecommunications.
Advice to Potential Customers: To those considering o2_de services, I advise vigilance, especially when dealing with contract extensions or modifications. Always seek clarity and be wary of any assurances that do not come with clear, documented benefits.
I sincerely hope o2_de addresses these issues, as a fair and transparent approach is vital for a positive customer relationship.
Best regards

I just switched to O2 in order to get a lower internet bill, as all internet providers in Germany are less than adequate for a ridiculous price. O2 sent out a technician who came and did some installments both in my apartment and in the basement of the house, and today I get a first bill for 129 euro?!!?!?!? I have never experienced a scam from an established company like this before, and I keep getting suprised by the way companies scam you here in Germany. They ask for "Anschlusspreis" for 50 Euro and then "Anschlusspreis router" for another 50 euro. Absolutely ridiculous. Instantly regret that I switched from another (bad) company, as now I have both bad internet and had to pay extra made up costs. Don't make the mistake to switch to O2!

The worst internet company! Do not make the contract with them! Super Unhelpful! Our contract suppose to start from September 7th we have been one entire month without internet - After finally calls on calls they told us that we had to switch to DSL instead of Kabel and after one months internet wasn't working. Beside that technicians were unable to come!

Due to the error of a customer service worker, my contract was not renewed on a new Tarif and I am now without a phone for 3 days and must continue with the old Tarif at double the cost. O2 take no responsibility for the error and offer no better solution. Terrible customer service.

Literally the worst experience ever! Customer service so so rude and hanging up the phone without resolving problems. Crazy amounts of money coming out of my account for which I need to call and wait long periods of time to find out what they are for- only to be hung up on by the customer service agents. Internet not working for months on end, them sending repair man to my place ( taking the day off work to be there)- and he never arrives. No explanation for anything and almost impossible to leave the contract. O2 is the worst and I will never spent a cent there again. I have lost so much money and so much sleep over this. Rudest customer service ever

Hi there….I ordered Sim kart ….
I filled in all the data correctly, name, date of birth and bank information. My order was refused! as there was no reason for it! Why is there an advertisement on your official website, but we can't order online? Complete discrimination... That's why you won't have positive reviews in the future! Good luck ;)

They just stole my money. I have bought 14.99£ offer SIM card. After activation I only got 9.99 £ and no net at all. They started charging me for phone calls and .99£ each time I turned on LTE. In two days they charged whole amount. I recharged again with 15£ and they charged that amount immediately, gave me only calls and no data pack. Simply looted me!

Too much waiting. The Internet isn't so good. If is for Paying they will hunt you but if its for your problems they will make you wait for hours months. I was 2 months without internet and now im waiting 4 hour for 5 minutes work.

They are the biggest scammers out there. I wanted to close my account because i was leaving germany for ever. So i thought it's better to go to an o2 shop in order for the procedure to be perfect. I went to an o2 shop in neumarkt (Schildergasse 101a, 50667 Köln, Germany) and i had all required documents (an official document from the city that i am leaving the country for ever, account number, id, utility bill etc.). The employee there told me i will do everything for you and you just have to send a letter with all the details, this specific employee filled, at Nürnberg. I send the letter at Nürnberg and after a while i received a letter that i have to send them another letter stating my telephone number and my account number. Obvious scam so they would delay the process and get paid another month or so. The problem was that i was leaving germany for good. After endless phone calls they told me i can call the ''kündigung'' department to close my account manually. As it turned out this was not the case and they told me there is no other way to close it unless you send as a letter stating telephone number and account number at nürnberg. Why should i pay to send a letter from another country and then expect even more surprises from the scammers ?? And how can they not know my telephone number and account number when they send me a letter to my specific address, in my name and i only have a mobile account and nothing else. Because they are scammers and they don't want people to freely close their accounts when they have a valid reason. i. e. LEAVING THE COUNTRY!!!
If you open an account with o2 be sure that it will be impossible for you to close it. I already knew that because i had a lot of friends facing the exact same problems but i never thought it was going to be so difficult.

How I wish there was -1 rating🥺😡. If you want peace of mind as an international student seeking for a mobile phone or internet services stay away from O2 Germany mobile phone contract. I have had my personal very bad experiences with them. Had I known is always at last. They don't have Email services to register your complain so when you are away you are forced to call them and they will charge you a very huge international charges. They don't update your rechnungs or invoices on time on their O2 app among other failures.
