I'm a bit concerned over there price advertising. Almost all products have a crossed-out prices and a price in bold red which appears to indicate a sale price.
Asking about this in store, they said they ignore the crossed-out price and quote the red bold price as their retail price, which to me is false advertising.
Not sure the commerce commission would approve of this sort of advertising, particularly when you look at items at a competitor's store and see NZhomeware perceived sale price matches other retails standard retail price.
E.G.
Engelfield basin mixer EF-97531A-4-BL crossed out price $460 bold red price $355
At Mico (who are not the cheapest retailer) have the same product at their full price of $349.01.
So Mico full price is cheaper than NZhomeware's advertised sale price.
Fulse advertising? Definitely misleading advertising

Ordered product on 6th June, still hadn't received it by 8th July. Did have some phone and email communication to be fair, however kept getting promised that product would arrive early next week. Got fed up and contacted my bank and suddenly I got refunded from Homewareshop. I do not recommend buying from this store!

Absolute useless products. Kitchen tap started to leak within few months of purchase. They replaced with another new one and that also started to leak in few months. Asked for a refund and plumbers cost. They are now offering a new cartridge for the second time failed tap. Who will pay for plumber? Bathroom black taps paint started to peel already.
Will never go there and not recommend anyone. There is no zero star option sadly.

I would not use NZ Homeware again. Their customer service is terrible. HOWEVER, if you do use them, do everything through Megan - she actually gets things sorted.

Never received product - tried calling and emailing but no response. Site is fake. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Brought on their site had confirmation of the order, but no tracking number and now nothing over a week later. No response to emails asking for update. They don't answer their phone. Emailed them 4 times and last one saying I would ask my bank to cancel and only then had a response saying a team member would get back to me. I gave them 24 hours to respond and nothing so have asked my bank to dispute. Finally heard from them saying they had one item but needed to source another. After more than 4 weeks after ordering I was sent a tracking code and received the order a few days later. Although it worked out in the end I wouldn't use again.

Brought on their site had confirmation of the order, but no tracking number and now nothing. No response to emails asking for update. They don't answer their phone, voice message which is incredibly hard to decipher requests you email them. I rang twice and I have been blocked despite never actually talking to anyone. There appears to be nothing I can do.

1 star flatters them. After buying online, I received confirmation of the order, then nothing. No response to emails asking for update. They don't answer their phone, voice message requests you email them. They promise something and then you find it is a lie. Eg Parcel sent overnight you will have it tomorrow. You find it is not sent until tomorrow and scheduled to arrive 2 days later. Request for refund or anything gets ignored. They make. Basil Fawlty look good. 5 Star incompetence.

I had a large order with this company. There were three trips back to the warehouse, to get items not included. The third was for a shower liner. It wouldn't fit in my car, so they had to deliver, then afterwards, I got a bill for delivery! 😂 Not paying it of course. Hope this is a learning experience for you NZ Homewares 🤨.

Great price, excellent product - towel rails, shipped very quickly (within Auckland) with excellent tracking.

They answer their phones but unreliable. Was told item will be delivered within Auckland in 1-2 days by operator (website states 2-3) so I expected to receive my items Wednesday of that week. Found out they use useless aramex for deliveries. Items picked up from their warehouse on Tuesday ready for delivery. It’s now Saturday and nothing’s arrived. Should have just ordered from bunnings. Their as useless as trade depot
