Installing the heat pump has been the best decision we’ve made for our hot water system. The entire process—from start to finish—was smooth and hassle-free. Don from Accounts was incredibly helpful, clearly explaining every step and managing the entire process with great care. The installation team were true professionals, and we had hot water within just four hours of the system being installed. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient hot water solution.

We got there in the end !
After all of the details were finalised for the install of our electric hot water service a booking date was set for the install.
Leading up to the install there was no communication to confirm bookings etc. We had taken time off work to be home during the install only to receive a last minute phone call to tell us we need to reschedule as the installer had called in sick.
We rescheduled for the following week as required and organised to take more time off work to be home.
Again we were called on the day of installation telling us we need to reschedule as the plumbers tool had broken.
On the 3rd attempt the NRG team of plumbers and electricians arrived as scheduled .
The job was carried out with minimal fuss.
However not all of the rubbish from packaging was taken when we were told it would be .
After the team had left we went to turn on the oven and the power to house kept tripping out.
We called the electrician who explained that he couldn’t return to fix the issue as he was now too far away,
The electrician did however make some calls and organise another local electrician that promptly rectified the fault.
A couple of days later we tried to use the bathroom fan only to hear a terrible noise. After getting up into the roof of the house to investigate I find that the newly installed power cable for the hot water service was placed directly on top of the fan making contact with the fan blades.
Although the journey was not the best experience, so far we are happy with the units performance.

Switching from gas-based water heater to heat pump-based water heater
The NRG7 supplied heat pump-based water heater has functioned reliably during the first winter. The utility bills for the period are yet to come so I do not know how much money was saved; considering the increase in gas rate, the lower consumption is expected to help. The delivery of the equipment and installation was carried out on schedule and very professionally. However, there was a lack of coordination and some delay in the removal of the old water tank. My compliments to the NRG7 team for a good job.
