Ordered a Talalay medium pillow from Not Swiss Cheese. The loft felt just right for side sleeping and the latex bounce helped me change position easily. Delivery took about a week and the packaging wa... See more

I ordered the Talalay medium-firm pillow after months of waking up with a stiff neck. Within a week I noticed a real difference—my head stays supported but it doesn’t feel like a brick. The cover is s... See more

Upgraded from a cheap supermarket pillow and the difference is obvious. My neck feels more supported, and I don’t have to keep fluffing it during the night. It did have a slight rubbery smell at first... See more

Not Swiss Cheese is a UK bedding brand specialising in natural latex bedding products. We keep a deliberately small range. Rather than stocking every material going, we work in one: natural latex, in its two forms. Dunlop latex is denser and medium-firm, which suits back and side sleepers who want support that doesn't give way under the weight of their head. Talalay latex is lighter and medium-soft, better for front sleepers and for anyone who finds a firm pillow pushes their neck out of line. Most retailers list both and leave you to guess. We think the difference between them is the whole decision. The range covers latex pillows in both Dunlop and Talalay, and organic latex mattress toppers made with GOLS-certified latex in a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover, in one, two and three-inch depths. Natural latex is naturally resistant to dust mites and mould, which makes it a practical choice for allergy and asthma sufferers as well as a comfortable one. It also holds its shape for years rather than months. A latex pillow that lasts five years works out cheaper per night than a synthetic one you replace every twelve months, which is the arithmetic we'd rather people did before buying. We're a small team based in Leeds, shipping across the UK. If you're not sure which firmness you need, email hello@notswisscheese.co.uk before you order. We'd rather spend five minutes getting you to the right pillow than process a return.

Not as described, appalling customer service

Received 2 pillows described as medium firm with the advice that they get firmer with use. They are really soft and have not firmed up at all. Tried contacting customer service several times with no response. Very happy to take my money but appalling customer service!

Sorry, you shouldn't have had to message us several times to get nothing back. If you ordered medium firm and got two pillows that were soft and stayed soft, something's gone wrong at our end.

We make a Talalay Medium Soft as well as the firmer one, so either the listing misled you or the wrong ones were picked, and I'd like to know which.

Email me at hello@notswisscheese.co.uk and I'll swap them for the firmer version or refund you, whichever you'd rather. I'll cover the postage both ways.

Beware, not even an update re delivery

Ordered in 24th March and still waiting, 5 day delivery clearly not the case. Email not answered which appears to be standard according to the reviews that I wish I had noticed before ordering!!

Sorry, this was a mess and you were right to be annoyed. You ordered on 24 March against a five day estimate and we missed it by a mile. We'd run out of UK stock, so orders were coming from our Poland warehouse and taking about three weeks.

The bit that bothers me most is that nobody told you. You should have had an email the day that date started slipping instead of piecing it together from other people's reviews. We hold UK stock now and the inbox gets checked every working day, wherever I am. If yours never got sorted, email me at hello@notswisscheese.co.uk and I'll fix it.
