YOU CANNOT BE SURE OF YOUR TICKETS
I was booking flight tickets on Norwiegan’s website, where the flight to my destination was a transit flight and the return was a direct flight. A day after I had payed I realized that I my return flight had been changed to a transit flight that lasted an extra 8 hours! On top of that it would be at night, where we would have an intermediate landing, which means that security is closed and you are stuck in the arrival's hall at least in the airport, we were at.
There was never a mail or anything that pointed out the fact that I had not booked the ticket I had initially payed for.
I called Norwiegan’s customer service to ask why my return flight had been changed.
The first lady I talked to said it was because When you book a round trip you will only be able to book flights that either are direct or transit, so she told me to cancel my return flight and book a “one-way-trip” home, and then book the direct flight. I canceled led the return flight, and then tried to book the direct flight home. That was not possible.
So I called Norwiegan’s customer service again and the second lady I talked to said it was because the tickets was sold-out.
I think something most people will agree with is that booking flight tickets are an hectic process, and it is pretty repulsive to have booked a flight and then Norwiegan changes its course after you have bought the tickets WITHOUT notice. I could have checked my flight a day later and I would not have been able to cancel the flight.
After this trip, my family and I will never be using Norwiegan again.
