. Disappointed and Misled – Avoid This Store

I’m extremely disappointed with North & Muse and how they handle returns. I originally ordered from them thinking they were a Canadian company based in Vancouver. However, to my surprise, the products were shipped from China — and worse, if you want to return anything, you’re expected to send it back to China, not Canada.

I was told I had to return the items via DHL (which is extremely expensive) in order for them to receive the return within 30 days. The return shipping cost is over $300, which is outrageous and makes it practically impossible to get your money back.

It feels like this company knows exactly what they’re doing and are scamming people. The product quality (in my case, shoes and a dress) is nothing like what’s shown on the website. The materials look and feel cheap, and the photos online are definitely misleading.

Bottom line: DO NOT BUY from this company. The return policy is a trap, and the product quality is far below expectations. I regret my purchase and hope this helps someone else avoid the same experience.

The first experience with north was…

The first experience with north was very disappointing. I ordered a winter coat $200.on for $99.95.I received the wrong one. I got one completely different. The one I received was on for $69.Not the same. They say they will credit me half of that for their mistake?

Disappointment

I couldn't be more disappointed with these candles. The candles themselves look beautiful, when not lit they give off a very strong fragrance and if you can find them at Home Sense or Winners the price tag seems to justify the purchase. However...the function of the candle itself is horrendous. Once lit, all the lovely scents seem to just disappear and the wood wick gives more problems than you can justify wasting the time on.

If you're someone who likes candles as decorations, with no intent to light them - this candle is a winner. However, if you actually would like to use the candle - BUYER BEWARE! These candles are not worth the money being charged for them.
