A dream come true!
It was an amazing trip organized by North Away and Nordbaek.
Everything was perfect with hikes, sea kayak, sauna gus, northern lights, snowy mountains, sun, great food, swimming in the sea, peacefullness, the magical Lofoten light etc. High on life after this trip!

I felt safe, happy, comfortable and extremely lucky the whole way.
The program was so well put together. Bjørn and Fie are some very lovely people. It was admirable what they had created for this group.

I can highly rekommend North Away. They planned a great 5 day experience in Lofoten with hiking, sailing, sauna gus etc. for 12 people after our whises. A cook was hired to make dinner every night. The guides Line and Bjørn was both great company and professionals during the trip.

This trip is a memory of a lifetime! We had very high expectations and those expecations were met! The 4 days felt like 2 weeks because we got to see so many great things. Everything from the place we stayed at, to the activities, and food was great. We did not have to think about one thing except enjoying ourselves and lofoten. Fie and Bjørn also choose activities that did not feel touristy but unique to lofoten. I am very pro responsible tourism and you could really feel that they have the same way of thinking on this trip. We did a lovely kayak, two great hikes, saw northern lights, visited local cafes, a lot of winter swimming and sauna. We could not have asked for a better turnout of the trip!

Why would you travel to Lofoten for the second time in a year with North Away x NORDBAEK? Well, of course the surroundings are post card beautiful, but the NORDBAEK crowd and not least the hospitality and local knowledge by North Away stands out and lifts a 5 day trip into the magical department.

Yes, we hiked, swam in the ocean, kayaked at Reine fjorden, visited historical Nusfjord village, enjoyed sauna therapy at a secret spot combined with ice swimming, saw northern lights dancing and more, but everything boils down to the togetherness Fie, Bjørn and their new addition Line facilitates.

We will be back for version 3.0.

My trip to Lofoten was arranged by North Away & Nordbaek and the trip was amazing! I can only recommend North Away. Everything was perfect: the planning, the location, the hikes, the food etc.

Absolutely loved my time in Lofoten with North Away in Sept 2025 for 6 days. Perfectly organised agenda / activities a with good balance of exercise / nature / rest. Cosy house and VERY good food! Big thank you to Fie. I will definitely be coming back to Lofoten.

My trip with Northaway can’t be described. I have never been on a group trip before, but this trip has definitely made me want to go again. Everything on the trip with Northaway has been really well planned. A program where you had the opportunity to experience the most beautiful places in Norwegian nature. A week in a lovely large villa with the sea right outside the door, sauna in the garden, delicious food served for all meals and the opportunity to see the northern lights. I can only recommend traveling with Northaway. Fie and Bjørn are very passionate and help you to have the most amazing trip in Lofoten.

My trip with North Away was absolutely fantastic. Fie and Bjorn are wonderful people who are truly passionate about Lofoten - always so helpful and full of warmth and kindness. Our group was taken care of in every possible way. The trip's agenda was planned perfectly and gave us a chance to experience so much - a perfect mix of adventure, sports, activities, rest, nature, knowledge and fun time together as a group. Our accommodation also deserves a mention - a cosy house in a beautiful location - and delicious, local food served. I highly recommend North Away, I cannot wait to go back!

Booked a group travel with Laura Petri and North Away. It was truly fantastic. Fie and Laura put up a very nice program. It was a good mix of sports activity, seeing the most beautiful views, having a good time as a group and everything was glued together by stunning meals in a very beautiful home. There were many small details to feel very welcomed.
And of course Fie, Laura and the group were very warm-hearted people and made it easy to be part of it. Would have stayed longer and highly recommend it!

I went on a 6-day trip to Lofoten with North Away and EYDA. The entire program was exceptionally well-organized, with carefully selected hikes, activities and an amazing place to stay in Unstad.

We received clear and helpful information both before and throughout the journey, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. One of the absolute highlights was the team and hosts — they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely present. Their warmth and professionalism made a big difference, and they made each guest feel comfortable and included. Highly recommended!

I visited the beautiful Lofoten with a large group at the end of August 2025. Fie and Bjørn were lovely and warm hosts, and the hikes themselves were stunning. However, the overall trip did not fully live up to the expectations set by the marketing or the price.

The main challenges were that the promised group size of 22 participants had grown to more than 30 including collab people, which made the hikes difficult in terms of pace and group cohesion and sometimes leaving people behind. In addition the expansion of the group made sure that there were not enough bikes available (needed to get from the main house and dinning area to the actual housing near the beach, about 800 meters away). A lunch that was originally advertised as included was suddenly own payment, and at times the trip felt more focused on promotion (likely connected to the expanded group size and meeting the collaborating company’s expectation) than on delivering the trip promised.

That being said, I would recommend this company for smaller trips or groups, and I would absolutely recommend visiting Lofoten in general. Unfortunately, my own experience with a larger group and collaboration setup was not positive.

Loved traveling with North Away - Everything was very well organized, fun activities and Lofoten has the most beautiful scenery in every weather.

I went on a 6-day trip with North Away in collaboration with EYDA. The days were filled with training, yoga, meditation, sauna, spa, and the most beautiful hikes. Fie and Bjørn are such warm, down-to-earth people, and being part of the trip alongside them made it so easy to travel alone and feel included from the very beginning. They provided a highly recommended packing list, and the whole trip felt incredibly well organized. The trip really brought us together and created a strong sense of community. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more - highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back 🩵🙏🏼

Took part in a 6-day trip to Lofoten in a collaboration between North Away & EYDA. The trip was executed perfectly. Before the trip, North Away sent reminders, packing lists etc. and were super quick to answer emails/questions, so that you had no doubts about what was happening. During the trip itself they were super present and everything was well planned, including changing things around a bit due to weather changes etc, so that we could enjoy the best possible trip. They participated in all hikes/workouts/trips, giving small fun facts and history of Lofoten, as well as their own journey in Norway, and I truly felt like I got to know them as people (on top of the other great group of people joining on the trip), which heightened the experience. The choice in collaborators (hotels, experiences) was also done very well. If I ever go back to Lofoten (highly likely!) I will definitely be traveling with North Away again. Highly recommend :-)

I was very impressed with the warmth, good vibes and attention to detail that North Away provided.
The logistics were executed perfectly, they were super attentive and it’s clear they are experts in Lofoten and very passionate about what they do.

I recently participated in one of North Aways wonderful trips in Lofoten (the Easter Retreat). Fie and Bjørn made it a great experience, and they were super supportive from the second we signed up to we were back home again.
The trip was so well organized with very nice yoga events, saunagus and hikes etc., and I am feel confident that they ensured, that we saw the best of the best. The accommodation and food was excellent, and Fie and Bjørn’s amazing hospitality and genuine interest in getting to know us and making us feel great, made the trip even better than expected.
I can highly recommend joining one of NorthAways trips or even use them for individual travel planning. Their knowledge and experience in Lofoten is impressive, and I am very sure that they make their very best to help you get a wonderful trip to Lofoten as well.

I’ve had an amazing trip (Påske Retreat) to Lofoten thanks to North Away. Fie and Bjørn were incredibly dedicated and made me feel safe and taken care of. They knew the tours well and added great stories and facts along the way. I was also truly inspired by them and left with a strong desire to travel even more—and definitely to return to Lofoten.
I would highly recommend North Away to everyone!
