I returned a rug to Nordic Knots just a couple of days after receiving it. The refund had still not been processed two weeks after confirmation of receipt of the return, so I called and was assured that it had been processed. It had not, and I called a few days later to complain and also posted my review / complaint here, with Trust Pilot. That got the wheels turning! I spoke again with customer service, and this time, they processed the refund to my credit card (it shows up immediately as a pending credit) and offered a generous discount on a next purchase with them. I am very happy with the quality of a previous rug I'd purchased from them, and they eventually resolved the present situation with generosity. So hopefully, the lengthy return process was just a glitch!

Seamless purchase & delivery

Ordered a rug, it arrived and I didn’t like the color, i didn’t even role it out, opened it for 2 seconds half of the rug to see the color. It took them 3 weeks to respond after 5 follow up emails, after they finally sent a return label. After 4 weeks they respond saying the rug shows signs of use and they cant resell it. So they are charging me a fees and wont refund the full price. This website Nordic Knots is the biggest scam!!!!!

I have experienced excellent customer service including after care. Extremely understanding and helpful.
Replies were quick and informative.

I love the designs of your rugs. This is the second one I've bought from you.

Actually I am quite disappointed about the quality of the rug.
The design if wonderfull, but there is a lot of “peel” coming of the rug and there are already some loose threads sticking out. And we only have it for a couple of months.
Could send you a picture if you are interested.

UPDATE: Upgraded from 2 to 5 stars because the company refunded what I paid for extra shipping. I haven't checked if the checkout language makes it clearer what is shipped when, b/c I have not needed to buy a new item from them, but this resolution seemed more than fair to me.

Misleading if not false content about what rushed shipping would result in. I paid hundreds extra only to be told I would not be getting the rug in any meaningful timeline because of some jargon around the release date from the warehouse. This is borderline violative of some consumer laws.

I ordered a rug from Nordic Knots and the delivery experience was poor. FedEx repeatedly changed the delivery date, the tracking was confusing, and communication during the delay was too slow.
That said, Nordic Knots did eventually follow up directly, acknowledge the issue properly, and offer a 20% partial refund, which I appreciated. The rug has now arrived and it is in excellent condition, and I’m very happy with the product itself.
The shipping experience was not good, but the final outcome was fair and the product quality is excellent.

There is so much I love about my rugs but my large shag rug is distinctly two colors - 80% one and then 20% another. I would have sent it back but it is insanely heavy. Getting it up to my walk up unit was an “adventure” — I can’t imagine trying to get it back down and shipped somehow
UPDATE: Nordic Knots got right back to me and gave me options for resolving the issue. Very satisfied and changing rating from 4 to 5

Shipping took a while but it is a large semi-handmade wool rug. To be expected.

Really pretty rug and colour, but the quality in my opinion is very bad compared to the price. I’ve had it for a few months and it still needs to be vacuumed every day because it sheds and there’s so many loose threads sticking out from it.

Problem with shipping adress, no help from the company. Worst customer experience, ended with no rug after a couple of weeks. Would never buy from this again
