Sian has been absolutely amazing in supporting me with breastfeeding. I would recommend her to anyone requiring support.

When my baby wasn’t gaining weight, she gave me tips on positioning, ways to increased my milk supply and created a clear feeding plan that began working immediately. Since then, she’s helped us put a sustainable plan in place for the future, so I feel confident moving forward.

Sian is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and she shared her expertise in a kind and supportive way. She went above and beyond to give me reassurance and encouragement during a worrying time. I’m now actually enjoying feeding my baby and he is growing well - I’m so grateful for Sian’s support to reach this point.

No Milk Like Mamas (Sian specifically) have been amazing.
She has given us the help and support we needed post babies tricky start to life (NICU admission and tongue troubles). Without her kindness, help and guidance we would have probably given up with breastfeeding really quickly.
Postnatal breastfeeding support seems to be hard to come by on the NHS, unless you're lucky enough to get a very passionate midwife or MCA (we were also very fortunate in that regard)
Sian has provided us with that missing support, tips and guidance.
Our breastfeeding journey is still developing but we're hoping with No Milk Like Mamas help, we will crack it.
Would highly recommend Sian and No Milk Like Mamas.

The work these ladies do is simply amazing. We first heard of them after our midwife recommended Flo to help with our son's tongue tie, she was brilliant and explained the procedure and helped to put our minds at ease. I then got back in touch with them for breastfeeding support. Luisa visited and I felt instantly comfortable with her, the help she gave was fantastic and she even checked in on us after our appointment. She recommended a breastfeeding support group which I have been attending since my son was 5 weeks old and is where I met Sian. Sian has helped me so much in the last couple of weeks and the way she explains things has been brilliant and has really helped to calm my anxieties. I cannot fault these ladies at all. They are all so passionate about the work they do and go above and beyond to help anyway that they can.

I had the best experience, firstly Sian gave me some brilliant advice before my appointment while we waited then when luisa came to my house she was so supportive and helpful, her knowledge and experience was above and beyond and it’s really helped us :) can not thank them enough.

We are so grateful to have found No Milk Like Mamas during our feeding journey. If we hadn't found them I truly believe I would have given up on breastfeeding completely after a really tricky start to feeding our twins.

We saw Flo originally to get one of our twins assessed for tongue-tie. She was brilliant at explaining everything for this in detail and helped us understand all the benefits and risks of getting a division. She also helped us with feeding in the same session and after weeks of not breastfeeding one of my twins at all I was able to feed the both at the breast. We went back to get a little more support and came away being able to tandem feed the twins. My breastfeeding journey went from strength to strength after this. Flo was so positive and knowledgeable and after weeks of not feeling hugely confident with breastfeeding I left feeling like a superwoman. She creates a wonderfully warm and safe space to learn and I can't imagine anyone coming away from an hour with her and not feeling a million times better.

More recently I have seen Luisa for some further support with feeding and once again was so grateful to have had someone to support me who created such a warm and safe space. She really helped me feel confident about trusting my instincts and my own supply. Both Flo and Luisa are very clearly hugely passionate about helping parents and their babies and I couldn't recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for support in their feeding journey.

Such a great experience! My daughter is 13 weeks and I’ve just had a feeling that she was tongue tied, finally booked the appointment and low & behold! She did!
Flo was lovely & so professional, she really knows her stuff! The appointment was very thorough and I never once felt rushed! I’d felt anxious all day about the procedure! But with Flo being so calm and supportive, it really put my mind at ease.

Flo was amazing - cannot fault the services we had. We were have a really tough time on our feeding journey with very little help. Flo talked us through some amazing advice and completed the procedure. I would recommend anyone to Flo who’s little one might have tongue tie.
It’s not nice seeing your little one upset but Flo’s room and reassurance was very comforting.

Flo was fantastic from beginning to end- so knowledgeable; experienced; kind and welcoming. We felt so relaxed during our child’s RLF assessment and procedure and knew she was in good hands. Thank you so much!

We saw Sian following our difficult birth and subsequent lack of milk supply this summer.

Sian listened and advised but following a slow few weeks with not much progress Sian came back again to see us and see how we were getting on. I have to say I was pretty amazed by how thorough and thoughtful she was having seen the lack of progress, she clearly wanted to understand all factors which could be contributing. She ended up staying for about 4 hours rather than the 1 hour slot and giving great advice. We’ve never managed to exclusively breast feed but Sian’s input has certainly made me feel less bad about it and helped us to enjoy the early months rather than always fretting about feeding. My supply is WAY more than it looked like it might be in the beginning, having got to about 70/30 BM to formula, so I think we got as good as I could’ve hoped for in the early days. Thanks Sian for helping make the early weeks and months more bearable and helping to get my supply revived!

Cannot recommend Flo enough, she came to our home in a matter of days since my initial enquiry, she understood how important a quick appointment was for us for our baby’s tongue tie due to the issues he was having feeding and how that was impacting me mentally too.

She was incredibly knowledgable and made me and my partner feel very at ease, reassuring me of what I had been doing with his feeding and how to get my supply back on track. She was very personable and friendly and explained the support and procedure of the tongue tie division very thoroughly with all the options and potential risks, I felt very comfortable and confident in her advice and her ability. She never rushed the appointment either and stayed to ensure I understood how to latch him again properly - it was worth the private costs as opposed to waiting for a less than personal service with the NHS. I would 1000% recommend Flo and the support she is able to provide.

Our little girl required a tongue tie division and our experience with no milk like mamas was amazing! Our tongue tie practitioner Flo was so kind and reassuring. Flo was supportive, knowledgable and friendly. Flo answered any questions we had and we didn’t feel rushed at all during our appointment. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience! Flo came out to see us to assess a tongue-tie and, although she was unable to perform the procedure on the day, stayed with us for 90 minutes to provide additional support around latching and feeding.
Amazing service, and we both now feel so much more confident.

I had a disappointing experience with this lactation consultant. Despite spending an hour with my son, they failed to identify his cleft palate, which was a critical oversight. The consultant's approach seemed to lack clinical depth, as they offered only generic advice about bonding with my baby during feeding. I felt the session was more about providing empty platitudes rather than actionable, accurate guidance. Overall, this service was not only a waste of money but also felt clinically unsafe. I would not recommend this consultant to others.

I was devastated my breastfeeding journey would be coming to an end prematurely due to various issues and reached out to Sian who made time for an appt the same day. She listened to me and diagnosed a tongue tie in my baby, arranging the referral to have it fixed. Sian was very patient and kind and incredibly encouraging of my breastfeeding journey. Flo was the lovely lady who performed the procedure after thorough assessment and she was also incredibly kind and encouraging. I have now been exclusively breastfeeding for nearly a month and my daughter has been gaining weight beautifully. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with their breastfeeding journey.

I have had four meetings with the wonderful supporters from No Milk Like Mamas this year, around tongue tie, feeding and sleeping. Each time the experience was superb, really helpful and reassuring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My mum initially found Luisa and No Milk Like Mamas when I was having a hard time breastfeeding and I was told by the midwife on our 7 day visit that my little girl looked like she had tongue tie. Luisa was really helpful and supportive upon speaking to her and having a home visit for a tongue tie assessment. She took time the time to get to know me and my little one, offered invaluable breastfeeding support, checked our latch and ruled out other potential causes of our baby’s weight loss, and (after being well informed about the procedure and the benefits and risks associated) performed a frenulotomy for our little girl at our next appointment. Without Luisa’s support it is highly likely that I would have ended my breast feeding journey some time ago now, especially due to the mental struggles that I was experiencing. I am really grateful for the help I received and couldn’t recommend Luisa enough. I feel like Luisa went above and beyond and is really passionate about what she does. I am grateful for advice offered and the follow-up received and wouldn’t hesitate to use the service again if it is ever needed in the future.

I can’t recommend no milk like mamma’s highly enough. We had a a myriad of breastfeeding problems with our first born, including sore nipples, infections and mastitis. If it wasn’t for Luisa and her constant expert help and guidance we would have given up on breastfeeding a long while ago - she really made all the difference. We’ve now made it to ten weeks and finally (thanks to Luisa’s early interventions) we’ve finally achieved pain free feeding. If you’re struggling with breastfeeding and are keen to persist please make a booking - for us it made all the difference. Ola and Rob

Flo was understanding and compassionate throughout our consultations. She did a thorough assessment of our son's tongue function and explained everything to me clearly. I felt listened to and like she had plenty of time for us, something similar appointments within the NHS were unfortunately lacking. She gave us exercises to try initially before undertaking any procedures and checked in on us on the following days to see what progress was being made. We booked a frenulotomy for the following week. Again during this appointment, she made sure I was happy to proceed and explained the procedure clearly. She was reassuring throughout and her advice on each visit left me feeling confident and empowered to try different techniques to support my son and family. I couldn't recommend her more!

Flo was like a breath of fresh air. She instantly made me feel at ease and like i had a voice that she wanted to take the time to listen to whilst promoting that i knew my baby best! She provided empathetic and professional advice. I wish I had seen her sooner. By the time the apt was finished I felt empowered and like a weight had been lifted.
