I moved from Scottish Borders at he end of 2024 and had been quietly following the group on socials for MONTHS but the thought of going to an event without knowing anyone, being completely solo gal was so nerve wracking.
I finally plucked up the courage and joined a Mama Mia Boozy Brunch at the start of August and it was so much fun. I have made friends and made plans with folks outside of the chat and I'm keeping an eye on events to do other events, sadly I'm at the time of the year I can't make any but what Caitlin has done is absolutely fantastic.
I am the organiser out of my friends group and if I don't plan anything, nothing happens. It's so lovely being part of a community of people who actually want to do things and it not just stay in the group chat.
Love love love what this community is all about, incredibly friendly and positive.
I'd encourage any lassies of any age to join an event. You won't be disappointed.

Website and socials always have up to date information & events. The events are safe spaces and everyone is so kind and welcoming. There are so many different types of events to suit all interests. Such a great community!

Amazing Community For Girls
I joined Noma Escapes a number of months ago as solo girly who was looking to get out there and enjoy life instead of waiting on other people to be available etc, Caitlin's vision of what the Noma community is and can be is amazing, she is opening avenues for lots of woman in the same situation to come together and have fun 😊 I can't wait for my first event in November to meet lots of like-minded ladies and take myself out my comfort zone. Amazing!
I first saw noma escapes on tiktok and absolutely loved the idea of it, as when I come home on leave I don’t have any social aspect except for bingo with me mam. I took the leap and signed up to country club event the day before heading back to work and it was an absolute ball. Although nervous at first they very quickly settled once I started talking and dancing. 💃 the next payday I signed up for 3 more events. It’s an amazing way to meet new people and make new friends.
Thank you Caitlin for creating Noma and bringing us all together.

I found Noma on n TikTok and it was exactly what I was looking for. At the start of the year I set myself some goals one of them being to try new things and meet new people. The community is amazing and it’s just girls of all ages and background looking for the same things; fun new experiences and friendships. The community is just so wholesome and such a mix of us which is great. Incredible!
I went on my first NOMA Escapes walk not knowing quite what to expect, I was super nervous and honestly, I’ve been hooked ever since! What started as one casual walk has turned into so many incredible experiences. I’ve ended up on all sorts of trips, from spontaneous weekends in London to numerous hill walks, and now I even have a trip to Marrakesh booked!
NOMA has given me so much more than just travel opportunities, it’s connected me with the most amazing group of people who, like me, just want to get out there, explore, and have fun. Every event feels so welcoming, well-organised, and full of energy.
If you’re looking for new adventures, new friends, and a reason to say “yes” to life again, I can’t recommend NOMA Escapes enough. It’s been an absolute game changer for me! 🌍✨

Welcome to the most wholesome community ever 💕
I was super nervous for my first NOMA event but Caitlin and all the girls were all so welcoming and friendly, everyone really is all in the same boat and there was lots of laughter and fun had. It’s such a brilliant idea to bring girls together, I’ve gone from going out maybe a couple of times a year to now having plans nearly every upcoming weekend! Amazing community for solo women
Caitlin does an incredible job as a one man band to run NOMA Escapes. I recently attended the day trip to Belfast and everything was organised and clear. Caitlin is very personable and friendly, and does an excellent job of bringing people together. You’d have never known we were all strangers hours before! I wasn’t particularly nervous about attending as the worst that can happen is you have a day out doing something different, however the trip far exceeded any expectations. The community feel is unmatched and I’m really looking forward to attending more events in the future.

I genuinely can’t put into words how much NOMA has changed my social life, my friendships and my wellbeing. It’s such a unique experience. Caitlin organises the best events and when you go alone you not only have a great time but you leave with new friends. I have loved every event I’ve attended. My trip to London was unforgettable. Laughs and memories to last a lifetime. I’m 42 but I feel 24 again! Loving life and having fun with like minded girls.

Such an amazing idea for solo girls wanting to have a bit of fun and meet new people.
I've been on 3 different Noma events now which just shows you how good this is. There's something for everyone from boozy brunches, wellness days, day trips and more! I would book on to so many more if work didn't get in the way. Every girl is in the same position, nervous, excited and most of all looking for something to do with like minded girls. The host is so welcoming and friendly and I can't wait to book on to another Noma event 💃🏼💛

Caitlin is amazing with all the event planning she does! She makes everyone feel so welcome. Arranges so many different types of events. I personally have been to a few of the outdoors ones including a hill walk and cycling round millport and soon to go to the goape event. Enjoyed meeting new people and making other plans in the group chats. I am a pretty sociable person in general but what attracted me to NOMA was the fact it was all organised and I can work it round my life. I don't need to wait on friends cancelling or being busy. 10/10 would recommend if you enjoy trying new things and meeting new people. I've done things I would never have tried on my own or things my own friends would be up for. It is a great community that Caitlin is building.
