We visited Nomad as part of a fitness retreat I was hosting, and it was the perfect place to wrap up our time in Marrakesh. Having been a personal favourite of mine for years, I knew it would be a great choice for our group – and it absolutely exceeded expectations.
From start to finish, everything about the experience was outstanding. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Bahia was especially fantastic – incredibly attentive, accommodating, and understanding of all our special requests.
The food and service were truly exemplary, and the whole group loved it. The setting, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail make Nomad an absolute must if you’re in the Medina. We’ll definitely be back!

I booked a month in advance and specifically told the team it was my mother’s birthday, asking them to make it special. Despite the notice, there was zero acknowledgment from the staff—no greeting, no effort, nothing to make the occasion memorable.
The food was another disappointment. We ordered two burgers well-done, and they came out raw inside—completely unacceptable for any kitchen, let alone one charging premium prices.
To make matters worse, Nomad automatically adds over 9% service charge, yet the service was careless, inattentive, and not even minimally thoughtful despite weeks of preparation time.
For a restaurant that brands itself as “special,” this was one of the most underwhelming and frustrating experiences I’ve had. As a blogger with 5–7 million views across platforms, I will be making a video to ensure others are aware and can make better choices for their loved ones and special occasions.
Bottom line: If you value your time, your money, and your memories—look elsewhere.
