Excellent experience from start to finish. The car was clean, in perfect condition and exactly as booked. The pickup process was fast and professional, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The return procedure was also simple and straightforward. I especially appreciated the clear communication and the full insurance coverage with no hidden surprises. I would definitely use Noleggiare again and recommend them to other travelers visiting Italy.

This company is a cheat. The agreement was that I should return car by a certain time which I had paid for and was written on our contract. When I returned the car, I was told that everything was fine, but after I left Italy they charged me for an extra day, saying that I had returned the car late. Definitely not to be recommended.

Your staff behave very badly and poorly service and not serious…….

they took 240 euro from my family for no reason, no justification.

we got there on time to the airport in perugia, one hour before even and when we asked them if everything is okay they said yes and then after we took the plane and arrived back to my country,
they wired the money from the account and now they won't answer the calls or emails or anything.

This company is a scam. We could even get our already paid car. They said they cant accept my creditcard without middle name even the terms and conditions says that it enogh with first name and surname. We will never rent a car trough this bullshit carrental ever again. You should be ashame on yourself because you tokk my money illegal. You are real criminals and reported

This car hire company is a scam.

I strongly advise you read all the recent reviews of this company at Catania airport as they are running a tourist scam.

Similar to other experiences, when collecting the car we are given a half arsed inspection who highlighted at least half a dozen existing scratches and damages to the car which was marked and certified on the iPad report. I was never provided with the report on email like I was told I would.

After just using the car for short local trips for a week, upon returning it to the airport we were given a customer service agent (using this term very lightly) who achieved new levels in rudeness almost instantly. No hello and we were berated for not cleaning the car (never asked to and have never done that with a hire car before) despite all their being was a fine level of Sicilian dust on the back of the car. Then she started highlighting all the pre existing damage whilst wiping it with a cloth and pointing at invisible scratches on the door. Then the real kicker which judging by other recent reviews is part of their scam, she started taking pictures and video of underneath the car saying there was new damage! When I spoke to the manager I was told I should’ve fully photographed and captured the car even underneath! Which is frankly insane. I’ve rented dozens of cars and never had a request like it. When i refused the ‘damage’ I was told my deposit would be blocked and not returned until their head office looks at the case.

Update - a week after I returned the car and surprisingly they released my ringed off deposit, they've illegally charged two payments to my credit card with no correspondence or paperwork to back it up. Currently having it investigated by my credit card company.

Avoid at all costs.

Brilliant team of friendly people who really do try their best for customers. They were quick to help me get a rental vehicle organised at a good price and ensured the process ran smoothly. Would recommend to anyone.

Very disappointing experience with Noleggiare at Olbia Airport.

I booked a SUV category car – Ford Kuga or similar – for 5 passengers and 4 pieces of luggage. I was travelling with 4 adults, a child in a car seat, suitcases and a foldable stroller. Instead, I was given a Toyota Yaris Cross, which was clearly smaller and not suitable for our needs.

I contacted the rental company 3 days before arrival to update the pick-up time and provide my flight details. They told me to contact the broker, which I did. At the desk, however, the staff said they had no information about this and that the originally booked car was no longer available.

Because the luggage did not fit in the car provided, I had to arrange an additional transfer from the airport for over EUR 200 and one the way back make another trip to transport remaining luggage, losing around 2 hours of my holiday.

The most disappointing part was the lack of real assistance and the way responsibility was shifted between the rental company and the broker. In my opinion, the car provided was not equivalent to the one booked.

I would not recommend this company, especially for families or anyone who relies on the booked vehicle size and luggage capacity.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR HOLIDAY RUINED.

We had a confirmed car reservation and arrived only 10 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, only to be told that our car had already been given to another customer.

What is the point of making a reservation if the company does not actually keep the vehicle available?

Their “solution” was unbelievable: they offered us another car only if we paid an extra €80 PER DAY. In other words, we were expected to pay more because of a mistake that was entirely theirs.

When we contacted customer service, the compensation offered was even more insulting: €15 to spend with their own company. Not a refund, not a real apology, not an attempt to solve the situation.

This was not only about money. We lost precious holiday time, had to reorganise our plans, wasted hours dealing with a problem we did not create, and started our trip with unnecessary stress and frustration.

What this experience showed us is that a confirmed reservation apparently means nothing here and that, when something goes wrong, the customer is left alone.

The most disappointing part is that they kept our money and offered no meaningful compensation, despite the inconvenience caused.

After this experience, we will never use this company again and absolutely cannot recommend it to anyone.

If you value your time, your holiday and basic customer service, book somewhere else.

Watch out these are criminals. They will say your name does not match your creditcard. But if you take assurance of 90 euro’ for two days then they can arange something. Scam… don’t hire a car here!

We did a last minute rental and everything went smooth. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with the car but one staff member was terrible. We were told it was a diesel car when it was actually petrol, also being told that we could drop the car back empty on fuel which we later found out wasn’t the case. Had no problem with staff when collecting the car or dropping it off.

Good car en great condition. At pick up I noticed a very, very small scratch, but staff member said it was ‘nothing’.
But returning the car was terrible: staff member deducted full deposit for the ‘scratch’. Noted this on a tablet and refused/was unable to give a confirmation on paper or by email.
Complaints afterwards were not answered. Only when I complained through Booking.com they hesitantly replied.
Extremely bad service, even for a budget car rental company

The quick solution to the credit card nonsense other reservations require. The guy that helped me did great, was clam and reasonable, offered a quick and good deal and we were happy to continue our trip. Thank you!
