Simple to install and works as described apart from one issue.

The automatic opening feature is slow to react and after installing the nold box in 4 different positions it became apparent that it needs to be really close to the car to work. The phone needs to have line of sight of the nold receiver so won’t work if the phone is mounted on the dashboard air vents even when only a couple of metres away. This means that the phone either needs to be mounted above the dashboard or I have to hold it up which kind of defeats the point of the automatic function. Before anyone asks, I have set the dB trigger to the most sensitive possible).

Great product, the range for operation and the delay time you should count-on does matter.

We are using Nold for 3 months now in an office building. 2 devices, one for the parking lot(its a barrier) and another for the office door. Its a lot easier to manage this way instead of the entry cards. One thing that could be improved is connection speed, when you tap the key there's a small delay when the door actually opens. Other than this everyone loves it in the office. When a client comes in the office and i open the door with my phone, its always a wow factor for them :)

Not working reliably with Android devices (3 stars is just because iPhone devices have no trouble). Support is arrogant, denies the error and did not help at all. I would not advertise android support in this state of the app or at least say that is in beta / under development.

Otherwise the hardware works just fine.

Great product and I am sure it has lots of potential uses - great for my gates

Online ordering isn't the best for UK as changes to Euros mid way through, pricing could be more obvious

I really enjoyed using the application

At first, the Nold device was inconsistent. Sometimes it would connect to the door operator, other times I would need to restart the phone or cycle Bluetooth on and off - neither method worked consistently.

The app was updated and now I can reliably use it to open the garage doors. My wife thinks I am crazy, since I grab my phone to open and close the garage door, rather than pressing the button in the car!

Waiting for a proximity feature so that the door will open when I approach the house! It's also useful when guests are staying with us. They can download the app and be able to use the garage doors without the need to loan them a controller.

Overall, a great device.

Nold is Fantastic!! It can be easily installed on any existing motor like a garage-door motor or gate opener. The app is free to download and very intuitive. It uses Bluetooth so no need for GPS signals or WiFi, network or internet setup and hassles with firewalls and settings. The app just search it and lets you control your gate.
Security is super tight as there is only 1 master(the first one) and you can share your virtual key with others without having to buy more remote controls.
The key optionally work on certain time-frames which allows personalized entry from all users including "expiring access keys", all without network-access and internet. Amazing!
I added all my garagedoors and it allows me to share and manage the security from the palm of my hand! Love it!!!

It works great, bur having to be online all the time, for reports & time barring, can be a problem for some users.
It also tends to take a bit of time to connect.
If an onboard clock can be used to determine access time rights (without data access), it could solve this issue (can build in security for bypassing timed access through changing phone's clock time)
Logs can be stored on App, untill next internet access, then uploaded to Cloud.
This way, internet access is not needed to open a gate.
More Administrater rights will also help (users with different admin rights)

Reliable, range to be desired, response time on iPhone up to 10 seconds. On Apple Watch response time up to 15 seconds and no haptic feedback...

Early days with my nold switch but so far so good. Lags a bit which is a surprise on a galaxy note 4 but it means I don't need a bulky key which is what I wanted. Instructions a bit sparse actually and the text size on the manual is tiny which is very irritating. Just as well thst you don't need to read it as I have 20 20 vision and I can't !!!
