Very much recommended - with caveats
I have a much loved and well used Tweed Blues Junior that was getting tatty.
Rather than selling or part exchanging it, I asked Ryan to give it a new lease of life with a custom Walnut cabinet and basket weave cloth.
The result was spectacular and Ryan created an amplifier for me that I will never part with - the craftsmanship and value for money are truly superb.
Ok - so the deadlines are definitely to be taken with a pinch of salt - don’t use Noisy Hammer if you’re in a hurry or easily stressed - and communication leaves a bit to be desired.
If Ryan can get on top of this part of business then Noisy Hammer will be world beating (and life will be much easier for you Ryan)
My advice would be to be patient but to push for responses and to trust Ryan to make you a product that you will cherish.

Noisy Hammer does not deliver
Leaving one star because that's the minimum. My Experience with Noisy Hammer and Ryan has been a horrible saga, one of poor customer service, communication and lack of professionalism on the part of the owner. I paid for a custom cabinet in May of 2025. Well after the quoted 12 weeks delivery time, I called Ryan, who told me that he would send me pictures of the work. After months of waiting still nothing. No pictures, no cabinet. I've called countless times, emailed him, and most of all been a patient customer. Ryan does not respond to messages, and has not delivered on the product I paid for. I advise others to exercise caution.

Great product, but not always straigh forward
I ordered an unloaded 12" combo cabinet made in hardwood and built to my detailed specifications. The good news first: I got a really nice cabinet exactly to spec. The delivery time was a couple of weeks longer than agreed (14 weeks rather than 12). That said, I sanctioned one of those weeks, prioritising quality above delivery. The not so good news (and as mentioned by others); working with Ryan (the owner) involves a combination of patience and pressure. Just sitting back and waiting for you order to show up on your door step is probably not the best approach here. But then again, this makes Ryan not much different from most tradesmen. All in all, and despite some frustration along the way, I'm a happy customer who ended up with a gorgeous, custom-built combo.

Noisy hammer is fantastic
Noisy hammer is a fantastic service. I’ve sent them multiple pedals of mine, including a vintage one, and they’ve always fixed them quickly and professionally. Friendly team, couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Everything these guys make is world class
Everything these guys make is top tier. The build quality is immaculate, customer service always on point and accommodating, and the products are genuinely affordable for those looking to make professional investments without. Ryan is also an incredibly wholesome and kind person whose love for the craft is reflected in his hard work.
People always ask about my amp and cab setup wherever we gig because they look and sound so phenomenal. Watch out for their new bass amp when it releases, I tried the prototype at an expo and I couldn't believe the quality of sound coming out of that thing.
Recent experience - cab refurbishment
In December last year I chose to have my Marshall 1936 cab refurbished by Noisyhammer. After confirming details of what needed via email I drove the cab up to Norwich. The initial meeting was pleasant and I left happy.
I had an EBS bass head that needed servicing and I was going to get my bass looked at by the guitar tech there 81 guitar works once the cab was finished.
Slowly but surely the weeks and months crept by..... Nothing. No updates, pictures, nothing. After about 4 months of waiting I decided to ask Noisy Hammer to just focus on the cab and forget the other work. Another month goes by... No updates or pictures. It was absolutely soul crushing to see daily updates on social media but all my calls and emails were being ignored.
In April I got an email to say the cab was finished. I thought finally we were getting somewhere. I emailed shipping address again and nothing...
Another month goes by. After trying every single possible method of contact. Text, email, WhatsApp and phone I was losing hope. I decided to make the trip up to Norwich to get the cab in person. I was absolutely thinking I would never see the cab again.
I get there to be told that the cab wasn't finished and it wasn't even on site. I very politely and respectfully asked that it be done that day but that was a no as they had "promised other customers work". It was agreed that the cab be shipped to arrive on Friday. I drove back down the A11 absolutely crushed and completely mugged off. Woeful customer service.
It finally arrived on Monday with cracked corner protectors, mismatched screws and uneven piping. The side handles had cracks in them to begin with and these had not been replaced.
The experience was a nightmare.
Be patient and some advice
Ryan is a great to deal with, he a very kind hearted man and I think he knight just need some help with managing orders, we had to go through a few emails to get everything right, and I had some issues with a delay on the order for a headshell, but he made the incredible effort for the sake of keeping good customer service, to pay international shipping himself to make up for it.
I will be returning for a coffin cab soon, and please, bet patient with him.
As my only suggestion, is for him to expand the backlog time and that would be enough to make NosyHammer perfect, because the workers already are
Thank you!
Told 8 weeks, so far we're at 23 weeks.
I've had a completely miserable experience dealing with Noisy Hammer. I ordered a head shell for an amplifier in early October, and was told a 4 - 8 week lead time with regular updates on progress. 23 weeks later (and counting) I still don't have what I had to pay for up front.
After the 8 weeks and none of the updates I was promised, I followed up and I was told they were waiting on parts from America, and it'd be mid January. (In retrospect, I have no idea what had to come from America, in the planning process, the implication was they had everything in stock, or were getting it from the UK or Germany. It's an amp head enclosure with no speakers in it)
30/1 and 11/2 I emailed to follow up and was ignored. On the 13/2 I managed to get them on the phone, and was promised a call back later that day. The following day I got an email saying the head shell had been finished, but wasn't the standard they want to send out, so would remake it if I wanted. After 10 days and a few more ignored follow ups I was told 2 weeks from 24/2 and the boss would remake it personally.
I'm now at 17/3 and 4 more ignored emails as well as ignored phonecalls I've started the process with my card company to get my money back, but that could take months. I also had a custom made nameplate delivered to them, that I'm assuming is now a lost cause.
I'd gone with these guys after looking at their reviews, but after this experience and having discovered a load of people that they've let down I think they're bought reviews. I don't want to leave reviews like this on a small business, but I feel like I need to do what I can to stop others having the same experience.
Do not buy anything from Noisy Hammer if you want to see either the product or your money. I'd give zero stars if I could. Go literally anywhere else.

Excellent 12” Hellfire Club Aguilar Loaded Bass Cab
An absolutely first class bass cab in terms of build, low weight and sound quality and ‘wow’ factor. The joinery is flawless as far as I can see, and the sound quality using a Fender P-bass is amazing. Really brings out the punchy but clear tone quality of the bass. And then there’s the look of it …. nothing else much like it in this country; makes folk double-take and then start asking about it. Unique looks that to me and those that’ve seen it are much better than the usual black box. The only other company that produces anything like this that I’m aware of is a Paris France based company called Heavy Seas. Much prefer the Noisy Hammer tho, as I love the Aguilar bass speaker it uses.
Disappointing - slow, inaccurate & scruffy job.
Whoever was at the end of the e-mail seemed pleasant enough, but delivery of the custom amplifier sleeve was very late, slightly undersize (causing a lot of hassle fitting the amp), and the workmanship was poor for the high price - thank goodness I didn't go for the '4-for-the-price-of-3' offer. Will not be returning.

Beautiful hand-made cabinet, a piece of musical art!
Excellent service, replaced the cabinet speaker for my needs even though I bought a "ready to ship" item.
