Fraud. These guys are embarrassing fraud clowns.
Fraud, fraud, fraud. They charged me $795 for a delivery June 2022. Then they ran the card again - unannounced - for $700 in February 2023. Their excuse - standard if you read their many awful reviews - is that their driver had to wait longer than normal. Only in my case I had the receipts.
First, I was onsite on arrival and actually helped unload the crate because their truck's liftgate was broken. Also, a friend working with a secondary shipper of theirs looked it up and the driver was onsite less than 20 minutes. He was only here that long because of their own faulty equipment. (worth noting that the secondary company did not charge me, NMU Worldwide did).
As you can see from their many, many terrible reviews this is just a normal day for them. So many similar stories. This seems to be an entire line of their business, actually.
They never produced an invoice for the $700 charge nor addressed any of our complaints. Terrible, hilarious joke of a company. Almost embarrassingly obvious.
Go to your credit card companies if they've defrauded you as well. I bet NMU's bank would like to know how much fraud these guys are funneling through their accounts. The Federal Trade Commission is your best bet on the federal side. Lots of opportunities to reach out to agencies in Florida as well.

Dont trust this outfit
Dont trust this outfit. My bank account has been hit repeatedly by them for shipping charges. They are a brokerage. Paid them for a one time shipment. And they have hit my CC 3 times after.
If I could give them a Zero rating
If I could give them a Zero rating, I would. Company is dishonest. They charged me an additional $350 in detention fee for 45 minutes of having the item. job was for $340. I was never informed there would be a charge for detention and $350 is excessive for 45 minutes since the entire job was for $343. How can 15 minutes be allotted for loading or unloading a 1200 lb pallet? All this information, I found out when I put in the dispute with my credit card. I called NMU repeatedly to discuss additional $350 and left messages. This started in April and still have not received any call back. For the dispute that I filed with my credit card company, NMU indicated in the paperwork that I was present at the moving and agreed to the additional charges which was a lie. I only signed paperwork for $250 which is the balance of the $340 for the initial move. For those who do not want to pay bogus fees do not use NMU.
Stay away from these credit card…
Stay away from these credit card thieves! Had a charge appear on my card for $350, and I have not done business with this company in almost a year. Call them, and got the run around. We all need to get together to form a class action against this company. Their tactics are criminal.

NMU Strikes again, I wish that I had read this before booking with them through Uship. They charged me $477 then $596 because they said it was over weight. Now 3 months later they charged our card $422 for no reason. DO NOT USE!!!
USHIP is not helpful either.

Scam company
Scam company! They store your information and continuously charge for years after the shipment.
Company erroneously charged me $475…
Company erroneously charged me $475 twice! Once about 6 months after a shipment and the second time over a year later. It is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone and when you do they transfer you to another person that will not answer. I will never use NMU again and highly recommend avoiding this company.
These people are the worst kind of…
These people are the worst kind of scum. Many of my clients have gotten together to take it up with the Attorney General of VA. In a few years I have done over 50 shipments with them. Had a few over charges and had to eat them. But, Now it is weekly that I am getting calls from clients that their cards are being charged. Some from shipment that happened a year ago. Most of the time for the same initial price of 500 to 900 dollars. We have sent a letter to UShip as well. One of the attorneys in the group say it is CC fraud as well as fraud having to do with interstate commerce. If they find out that the trucking companies are involved, he said they will be under RICO statues of conspiracy to organize crime. Federal!! All of the employees will be deposed and possibly charged. I can’t wait to see these people fry. I have pages and pages of proof from our group if anyone is interested in getting involved. You need to be able to prove your shipment, charges and re-charges. Thanks

SCAM Company - BEWARE
As all others have expressed this is a scam operation. I had a shipment with them in December which went fine and then the extra hits to my credit card started. The first was December 19 for an extra $208. When I inquired they said it was because of delay time at the delivery site. I followed up with the receiver and found that was not true and i was able to get the ABF invoice to NMU confirming there was no additional fee for the shipment. Based on this and after tons of calls and emails, they credited my $208 and I thought I was done with them. Got credit card bill yesterday and now see they've hit my card for another $500 with no explanation (keep in mind this is almost 3 months after shipment. Calls to NMU just get placed on hold and messages are not answered. I'm leaving this review in hopes that people will see it and never use this company as they are unethical and engaged in illegal charges.
charged 4 times for 1 shipment
This follows the same trend everybody else is statinig. We went thru UShip and were quoted $376 for the shipment. We have a scale here and submitted the correct weight and sizing of the crate. We were charged $376 on our credit card on 12/30. Since then we have seen the following charges...
1/3/2023: $354
2/22/2023: $600
2/26/2023: $375
We have left 4 messages and none of them have been returned nor have we ever received an explanation or invoice for the additonal charges of $1,359 over what we were originally quoted. This seems unethical to me. I understand we can make mistakes when requesting the shipment (as the responses have rudely pointed out) but this seems straight up illegal. Doubt I will ever hear back from them and I have since blocked any further charges by them as well as put the 3 additional charges in dispute until I can be provided an explanation.

They charged me $300 nearly a year after using their services and I can't get in touch with them. Luckily my bank said they have seen this company's scams before and should have no issue disputing the fraud.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. First, they are just a broker, but then even after delays, months later, they charged my card for BS fees. After reading all of the reviews online, it seems like it is standard business practice for these people to bill again. I have made several attempts to contact them, but they keep putting it off on the carrier. Total scam. Stay away.

Horrible experience with NMU Worldwide. Supposed to take 7 days, took 30. Poor communication through the entire process, I had to force them to do anything through the entire thing. It doesn't matter if you are just a forwarder, why give unreasonable dates that you can't even try to meet or even care enough to meet.

Credit card scammers!
Credit card scammers!
Do not pay by credit card. They are cheaters. Charged almost double $650 extra for one of the two trips I booked with them. They said payment was not working when I paid and insisted I pay over phone. I have used many other companies none were as bad as NMU. Pay twice elsewhere and if you decide to work with NMU pay by check or other means avoid credit card by all means.

Total thieves and credit card scammers
Total thieves and credit card scammers
Item arrived really late and with the usual additional charges and then months after I get a charge of $250 out of no where as most people tend to get.
I’ve seen the replies to people’s complaints and if you think you can talk your way into people believing you, might be an idea to wake up.
People see you are stealing money from them and the day will come when you will simply get caught and arrested for credit card fraud
How a scam like this is not registered with the police I don’t know but I am sending my case to the Davie police next week
