The company has been shut down now, but actual notice of the shutdown was only given 2-3 days before it happened, with no chance of users being able to download their data if it was too large, or they hadn't been messaged through a messaging service called Discord. There were little to no adequate fallbacks from the company, or any directions to other partners that users may be able to swap to.

Just switched from wither hosting llc and honestly this is my first time I got to pregenerate 10000 of the modded world without having an issue/ server getting freeze compare to previous host,

not to mention that staff need an access to get into our server's file compare to previous one that give staff access to our server file without consent.

Madsen hosting is amazing, their support is top-notch and the VPS's are hosted on some nice machines. I would definitely recommend this host to anybody and will be purchasing more services in the future.

This server hosting is AMAZING. Although the plans are cheap, the hosting is incredible. I highly recommend trying this hosting as it will most definitely impress you. The reasoning behind the 5th star missing is because this server hosting is not beginner-friendly, if you have any problems with the server, the support team will help you in minutes. All in all this server host is one of the best out there and you should try it!

This server hosting service is not beginner friendly, the interface is extremely confusing! When you pay they don't give you a link to the dashboard, and no where on the main website was a link to the paid for servers dashboard only the free option. The only links I was given where the free option for hosting, along with another link to a dashboard where I could not log in. I used both the log in I used to pay for the plan and the website generated one- neither worked.

I also could not get ahold of anyone for help.

The general layout is extremely confusing as well, as of 1.17 you need to change the version of the game manually or else the server will not start.

The tutorials on the youtube page are outdated and do not give all the information

I see genuinely nothing positive about this hosting service other than the fact adding plugins is easy.

Me and couple of my friends have started a server using only the free hosting and it's doing great.
The server uptime is very stable at 99.99% and the server members help each other out most of the time. Also, the support team is very patient and helpful.
Loving it so far.

Easy, reliable, clean, fast, cheap, and high quality service is all I can say about this host. Just bought a server and its performance is amazing! I am very proud of the hosting service that it did not disappoint me and it actually gave me the great experience I wished for at an affordable & cheap price.

Talking about the support, when I first started the server it did not worked & it kept crashing so I contacted the support team & within a minute they replied and kept assisting me with my problem until it was fixed. The problem turned out to be from my side not even theirs, but they still helped me to fix it and sure they did! I would personally give this support a 20/10, because of their active & helpful response.

And since, the server is running pretty well & I'm having fun playing with my friends on a private server with a stable TPS and ping not having to worry about anything.

I had a slight problem (my part) with my server on Madsen host and as soon as I made a support ticket, they identified the problem and resolved it. I also have a consistent 20 TPS on my server with over 30+ plugins. Overall Madsen host is one of the best hosts I've been to and recommend it to everyone.

This is a great hosting server! The moderators and admins are so welcoming and offer support all the time! I really enjoy using this hosting service and it is not laggy at all. The server is so customizable and you can add and backup files. 10/10 would recommend.

1. The game panel looks amazing.
2. The uptime is very good too.
3. I never experienced a data loss from Madsen.

Hello, I have been using the service of madsen for almost 6 months now and I am happy with it. There have been some changes in their structure but that is to be expected for a growing company. The prices are cheap for what you get. I host my server in the eu and have players from all over the world. No one with a good internet connection has lagg on the server.

In the beginning we used the dynmap plugin but the cpu (ryzen 5 3600) couldn't handle it without tps drops. So we removed it. Now we can easily play with 10-15 people with big farms running without tps drops.

I have the 4gb plan for 5.5 euro each month. It has 30gb storage, less than i want but you get what you pay for so i think its a fair compromise. If you ask them you can do things like opening more ports or changing the startup flags.

When we had some problems it is easy to get into contact with the host and we most of the time got a reply within 20 minutes using their ticket system in the discord. They are friendly and give good help and are flexible, here is my example;

Payment was done with paypal but it somehow didn't work; Server got suspended. (So i couldn't start it) I talked with host and they unlocked it so it could start again and we made a new payment plan. (Same price of course)

It happened another time, this time because the plan we setup previously was paying a few hours after their check if the payment was done, so the server got suspended for a few hours while we had contact with the host. They were willing to change their payment check to a few days later for me personally so i didn't have to make a new payment plan again.

This seems like a lot of trouble, but the truth is if i had the same problems with a more well known host they would just lock the files behind an expensive paywall.

(Had this happen before where another host asked like the equivalent of 4-5 months of payment just to get the files back, its the reason we switched hosts to madsen in the first place).

So as a summery: cheap host with good performance if you don't use the Dynmap plugin. The support is great. I saw some bad reviews so i made this one because i think they deserve a positive review for the work they put into it. Keep it up :)

There is no free server this so I can check the server and they have ban me on the discord I am not able to type in general

Great service by Madsen Hosting, BEST of all the hostings in CHEAP price, very affordable. Must try.

I couldn't find a better host than this one, But i am leaving a 4 star review because there are no usa servers and once usa servers come out ill be more than happy to make it 5

Good Uptime and very good hosting. Only the issue is that I couldnt create one more server. We should be able to create 5 - 6 servers max. 😅
