Claims Representative was not very accommodating.
Terms like "I do not think we are on the same page" & "You keep interrupting me" were used by the representative in response to some questions I asked

NJM Is No Longer A Recommendable Company

Poor work. Amanda blamed the body shop and the appraiser for the suggested use of pre-owned parts to fix our car when it was NJM’s call. She pointed fingers at them twice. Then when I escalated it to her supervisor she was not helpful, other than to pass me along to the Executive Response Team; sending me to a rep who informed me that they would have a response for me in 24 hours. That did not happen and that rep went on vacation and whomever was supposed to take up the case did nothing. The ERT rep whom I originally spoke to came back a week later and I was put in touch with her, after finding out from the body shop that Amanda had priced the used door wrong so the body shop could not even order it. Fortunately, the ERT rep replied to me approximately 24 hours later that NJM was approving the new OEM door as a ‘one time courtesy’.

This has been an awful experience. Incompetence, finger-pointing and a company that takes thousands of dollars from me every year acting like the use of new parts (that cost approximately $350 more than used) was a favor that I didn’t deserve.

Amanda needs some re-training, her supervisor could use some as well, and NJM needs to realize that they work for the people who pay the premiums, not the other way around.
I would not recommend NJM to any person that I know. I have used them for decades for both homeowners and auto and they have taken a lot of my money with little in return. They are forcing me to sue them to cover an accident I was at no fault for, and rejected a well-documented homeowners claim. When I finally resolve all 3 of these issues I will be moving away from them permanently. They should be ashamed of how badly they treat their customers.

I was pleasantly surprised at the…

I was pleasantly surprised at the treatment I received at Branning. First of all, the repair of my car was perfect. I was informed every step of the way regarding timeframe, and everyone was kind and respectful. I would highly recommend Branning.

Generally I was pleased with the experience. It did seem that I was more involved in the process than previous claims. Diane helped with securing extension on rental as repairs went about a month past initial assessment. We expected to have new parts vs salvage but that was not possible.

Had a chip in windshield

Had a chip in windshield. The entire claim process went without any problems. It was seamless to me from initial call to completion. Well trained employees, excellent well thought out processes and procedures and top notch user friendly technology are all appreciated.

I had a previous similar claim and that also was a seamless process with positive outcome.

I feel that I can count on NJMC and that is a great thing.
