NIT solved our problems for us by having the local staff and knowledge to be able to meet our ask - the trip mixed time as a four, time as a two (twice), days not organised by NIT). We talked to UK based travel agents and they all said "too complicated". We met NIT at a travel show and they weren't fazed by our requirements and sorted out a bespoke package for us. The lodges they chose were great (especially recommend the Hoodia Lodge) and they provided us with a new Toyota Hilux 4 cab with a second diesel tank - and showed us how to change tyres etc. When an animal came out of the bush and hit the Hilux and damaged the bumper they organised a patch up at a local Toyota garage within the hour.

NIT introduced us to Temple World Travel so we could pay a UK travel agent and benefit from UK ABTA protection etc which was a distinct plus (we booked the flights with them).

If we go back to Namibia then we will use them again.

We really enjoyed our holiday.

We had an absolutely fantastic trip with Namibia Individual Travel, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our driver-guide, Tufi, was exceptional: thorough, professional, knowledgeable and endlessly helpful. He shared fascinating information about everything we encountered and always had excellent ideas for making the best use of our time. His attention to detail and enthusiasm added enormously to the whole experience.

The cycling was a real highlight. Riding along trails through the safari parks was unforgettable, while the corrugated and sometimes sandy gravel roads provided plenty of challenge and adventure. The itinerary gave us a wonderful mixture of cycling, wildlife, scenery and time to enjoy each destination.

The lodges were, for the most part, excellent, with very friendly staff, magnificent views and plenty to see and do. The food was superb too—excellent steaks became a particularly welcome reward after a demanding day on the bikes!

Everything was organised extremely well, and we always felt that we were in capable, experienced hands. It was an amazing trip from beginning to end. Full credit to Namibia Individual Travel and especially to Tufi for making it such a memorable experience. An easy five stars.

We have travelled all over the world on numerous long haul holidays. We generally use specialist agents who have an intimate knowledge of our destination as we like to learn about all aspects of the country, its culture and its people. We have had many excellent such trips put together by fantastic travel companies and consultants. We can honestly say that our recent one month trip all over beautiful and stunning Namibia, with two friends, was an absolute revelation and NIT is without doubt the very best specialist agent we have ever dealt with over decades of travel. From meeting Andrew, the owner, at the Luxury Travel Show in Olympia, London, to dealing with delightful Desirée who put our long trip together with such flexibility, understanding and deep knowledge of all aspects, we have been bowled over. Our guide, Hans, was the best of the best - extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgable, efficient and a safe driver. We learned so much! Our stretch 4WD Land Cruiser was ideal and comfortable with pop up roofs for game viewing. The end result was one of the very best trips we have ever done and we are already planning our next Namibian safari with them. In our view, if thinking of travelling to Namibia, there is only one company to consider and we recommend NIT unhesitatingly. In a word, they are brilliant!
