Heavy DOODY Machines
I purchased a Nictemaw washing through Amazon, from this third-party seller. It wasn't a great experience from the get-go, as the machine I received was obviously a returned / used item - scratched, dented and with soap and water still in it. Instead of paying to have it returned and replacing it or refunding it, the seller DID offer a small partial refund; and, in order to not deal with the hassle of repackaging it, etc., I accepted, and kept the machine.
Close to five months later - with very minimal use - it stopped working and FLOODED my utility room and some of my kitchen. (I wish we could upload pictures and videos here)!
I contacted Nictemaw and received nothing but a three month run-around DESPITE the fact that their machines supposedly come with a 1-year "warranty". In one reply they said: "We feed back the problem of machine to our tech and they are confirming the issue and it need some time, could you please recontact us ?" In another, they asked if I would "accept a replacement", to which I replied "of course!"
The rest were emails where they asked for my address a couple of times, despite them having it, and then, SILENCE.
You know, I tend to try to be fair, so if it had lasted even 9 months, I would have cut my losses and that would have been it (it beat going to the laundromat for a few pieces of clothing). BUT, not even five months .... and then the terrible customer service? No way.
The term "do yourself a favor" is sometimes overused, but definitely warranted this time. If you don't want the headaches, STEER CLEAR of this site, this brand, and these machines.
