Sadly the after purchase support at Nick Scali is non-existent. Within months of the delivery all 3 USB ports have stopped working on my sofa.
An engineer came out, claimed one was damaged, one wasn’t even made correctly and was missing bits inside and one was just faulty.
Sadly Nick Scali are trying to claim this one damaged one must have somehow broken them all and are attempting to avoid obeying by their warranty.
After they have gone weeks ignoring my email I had to inform them of a deadline before I will go to small claims for them to finally respond. They will are avoiding honouring their warranty but have offered to send out parts for me to repair myself.
The technician sent out to do the check on the sofa confirmed to us that Nick Scali (who they constantly called Fabb, apparently didn’t know they had been taken over) would likely just refuse the repair despite what they claim their warranty is. Clearly this play is something Nick Scali do more often than not. Their warranty is meaningless.

My partner and I went into Nick Scali not expecting to find our dream couch as we had looked around both DFS and Sofology, and were basically attacked upon entry to both of those shops when we just wanted to browse and make our own decisions.
However, that changed when we walked into Nick Scali. The sales assistants simply say 'hello' and let you walk around and browse. Richard introduced himself as we were browsing the ground floor and was what I would describe as 'dead chill', which is perfect when you are making a purchase which can be as expensive as a used car for example, and your anxiety is unusually high.
We eventually found the couch we wanted on the first floor of the showroom and went and found Richard who then helped us design our couch as exactly what we wanted.
The customer service we received was impeccable and the sales experience was so seamless. It genuinely felt like you were having a relaxed conversation with a mate. No pushiness whatsoever - it didn't feel like DFS or Sofology where they are working to sell you anything that they can from the second you walk in.
My only indiscretion is the delivery time which is around 12 weeks, but when you are paying for what appears to be unmatched quality compared to the other two retailers, it is definitely worth the wait. The demo couch that we thought was brand new and still firm and shapely was actually 9 months old with customers sitting on it every day. Definitely avoid the big retailers at Alvis retail park and try Nick Scali.
I would also like to add that the team at Alvis are genuinely LGBTQ+ friendly. There was no 'oh, are you brothers?' talk and they knew that my partner and I were actually partners from the second we walked in. That was actually really refreshing not having to correct anyone.

I recently bought a sofa and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Jes and Abdul were both incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the whole process. They made everything easy and stress-free, helping me choose the perfect sofa at a great price. Both stayed way after closing time. Which is highly appreciated.
The quality of the sofa is outstanding — very comfortable, well-made, and looks amazing in my home. The customer service was top class, and I really appreciated their honesty and attention to detail.
I would highly recommend Jes and Abdul to anyone looking for great service, high-quality furniture, and excellent value for money. Thank you both!

We visited the Cheltenham store looking for a dining table initially, and were greeted by Frank. He was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He really hits the balance between giving you space and jumping right in to answer questions and help out when needed. We‘ve since been back to the store a number of times and Frank has always been quick to welcome us back, and even remember our names. We have since purchased a sofa and are now working with Frank to find the perfect dining table and chairs!

Visited the Wednesbury store today to purchase a new sofa and was served by Kay. We received a great service from a very friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff member in Kay and looking forward to receiving our new sofa. The quality of the products, fabrics and materials seemed to be far superior in this store in contrast to other similar stores in my opinion, I hadn’t heard of the brand previously but I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new sofa and or furniture to give Nick Scali a try.

My wife and I visited Nick Scarli in Kings Lyn twice last week in our search for a new dining table and chairs. We were looked after excellently by Mathew who talked us through various options and was most knowledgeable of the products and company history. Mathew was very patient and professional and we ended up purchasing a range of lovely products. Always nice to receive a warm welcome and great customer service. The staff also made my dog very welcome! Mathew is a real ambassador for Nick Scarli. Thank you and we can’t wait to receive our furniture.

I am writing this to warn anyone considering Nick Scali Thurrock: their word is worth nothing and their internal systems are a shambles. My 8-month ordeal (Order #GU00667) has been defined by a constant stream of misinformation.
1. The Sales Misrepresentation:
I was explicitly told at the point of sale that by ordering two items, I’d pay one delivery fee for a joint delivery. They broke this immediately, delivered separately, and then tried to offer "waiving" the second fee as a goodwill gesture for the delay. You cannot offer a "gesture" for a fee that shouldn't have been charged in the first place.
2. The "Call Back" Culture:
Throughout this ordeal, I have been repeatedly promised calls "within the hour" or "by the end of the day." Not a single one of these callbacks ever happened. I was constantly forced to chase them, only to be met with total silence.
3. The Internal Chaos:
For months, I was given no explanation for the delay. Staff at the Thurrock store repeatedly told me that because the original salesperson didn't place the order correctly, they "couldn't work out what had gone wrong." To this day, I have no clear answer as to why my order was never fulfilled. They only recently started blaming "production issues" after 8 months of mystery.
4. Zero Accountability:
After being ghosted for over a month, I was told the wait would be 10 months total. Manager Craig Harbisher considers a £30 waiver appropriate redress for holding my funds since August and ignoring my correspondence. He is now demanding "supporting evidence" for my loss. My evidence is the 240+ days of frustration caused by their total inability to provide a basic service or an honest update.
Conclusion:
They have finally triggered a refund because I threatened legal action, but they refuse to take responsibility for the deceitful and incompetent way they handled this. If you want furniture delivered in the same year you buy it, do not shop at Nick Scali.

I went to Nickscali after a walk with some friends, we were just looking around, I did mention that I could be in the market for a new sofa. Stephen was helpful in finding me the suitable size sofa for my stature. The sofa was on special offer as well, did choose a colour different from the one on show. Stephen did send me quotes the same day, and I went in 2 days later and sealed the deal. Stephen is a new sales person and had a very helpful lady called Grace I hope that is correct. but again she was very helpful in the process.

Could not fault the service. Richard introduced himself on entry and made us feel so comfortable, leaving us to wander around at our own convenience. He was there when we had questions and super informative. Fantastic service and a great experience.

I bought a sofa from the Croydon store. On delivery the sofa had 2 long deep pen marks that are ingrained into the leather. The delivery company took pictures at the Croydon store with the pen marks and showed them to me when I complained. I contacted the store manager and he told me that there is nothing that he can do and forwarded it to the companies head of service and after 1 week I have heard nothing. I don't recommend this company and their products. It's been 4 weeks now and no contact from Nickscali.
