They provide little to no communication or response. It has been two years since my security deposit was due to be returned, and despite legal proceedings and actions, the matter remains unresolved.
I strongly suspect they are taking advantage of the slow German legal system, particularly when dealing with international students who may be vulnerable, lack local support, and often have to leave the country.
I would strongly advise against renting from them. The experience has taken a significant mental and financial toll. I have also noticed that negative Google reviews appear to have been deleted, which raises further concerns about transparency and accountability.
They are no strangers to operating shady in Berlin’s rental market in ways that raise serious concerns, as reflected in cases involving the Berliner Mieterverein.
