At first, when opened bottle & smelt it, I was dubious. Can smell the maple but mostly cloves. Once in your coffee, it is very smooth & warming. Hardly taste the cloves. A very tarty syrup.

Had never seen this syrup before and decided to try something new for the autumn/winter season. It is now the whole family’s firm favourite with a gorgeous warmth and depth of flavour. Prefer it to pumpkin or gingerbread and definitely worth a try if you like a “deeper” taste
