Minimum Requirements - IOS 15 and Android 8 GPS Tracking Piqo pinpoint accuracy The Piqo dash cam is equipped with a 10Hz GPS, providing highly accurate speed tracking and pinpoint location precision. This advanced GPS technology ensures that your driving data is recorded with exceptional detail, capturing real-time speed and location updates at a rate of 10 times per second. Whether you're reviewing footage or monitoring your trips, the 10Hz GPS enhances accuracy, giving you a reliable record of your journey. Why is GPS important in a dash cam? The GPS in the Piqo dash cam is important because it offers more precise and frequent updates on your speed and location compared to standard GPS systems. This level of accuracy is crucial for several reasons: Accurate Incident Documentation: In case of an accident or dispute, having precise data about your speed and exact location at the time of the incident can be vital for insurance claims and legal purposes. Detailed journey trace: For drivers who want detailed insights into their driving, the 10Hz GPS provides highly accurate tracking. The data from the Piqo dash cam is even more accurate than your mobile or car at showing speed and location data. Enhanced Footage Context: When reviewing dash cam footage, the accurate speed and location information help provide a clearer context to what’s happening in the video, making it easier to understand events as they unfold. Crucially proving you were not at fault. ClickMount The Piqo ClickMount is an innovative mounting system designed to make installing and using your Piqo dash cam effortless. With its compact design, the ClickMount allows you to easily attach and detach your dash cam in seconds. The strong connection ensures the camera stays securely in place while driving, while still being incredibly convenient to remove when needed. true The Piqo ClickMount is not only easy to use but also crash-tested for durability and security. Its sturdy design ensures that the dash cam remains securely attached, even in the event of an accident. Unlike other dash cams that stick directly to the window, the ClickMount is different, allowing you to easily transfer the dash cam between vehicles. This flexibility makes it ideal for drivers who use multiple cars, offering both reliability and convenience without the need for permanent installation. G Sense+ The Piqo dash cam features an enhanced G Sense+ G-force sensor, offering even greater sensitivity and precision in detecting sudden impacts or sharp movements. This advanced sensor responds instantly to events like hard braking, collisions, or abrupt swerves, automatically locking the crucial footage and making sure it cannot be overwritten. With its enhanced capabilities, G Sense+ ensures that important incidents are captured with even more accuracy, providing vital evidence in case of accidents or unexpected events, without requiring any manual action from the driver. The enhanced G Sense+ G-force sensor also plays a key role in Smart Parking mode, where it detects any impacts or bumps when your car is parked. If the sensor registers a collision or disturbance, the dash cam automatically starts recording, capturing crucial footage of the event. This ensures that even when you're away from your vehicle, any incidents—such as hit-and-runs or accidental damage—are documented, providing peace of mind and valuable evidence when you return. Wide Viewing angle Capture more with Piqo The Piqo dash cam offers a wide field of view to capture more of your surroundings. The 1K model has a viewing angle of 140 degrees, providing excellent coverage of the road ahead. The 2K model expands this even further with a 145-degree viewing angle, ensuring even more of the scene is captured in crisp detail. These wide angles help record everything happening in front of and around your vehicle, reducing blind spots and ensuring key details are never missed, whether you're driving or parked.
