Freestanding dishwasher and manual

Bought a Newworld freestanding dishwasher. The appliance manual options and programmes was useless. The programmes in the manual bears no relation to that which is on the front control panel. There was no description of what the option pictures were on the front panel were.
Customer service were worse than useless. Nobody would take “ownership” of the problem and just passed the buck.
Having now had the dishwasher 4 months it does what it’s name says, it WASHES DISHES BUT IT DOES NOT DO A GOOD JOB OF DRYING THEM. I will never ever buy another Newworld appliance

How on earth do you ever get hold of…

How on earth do you ever get hold of anyone to talk to at New World. So far, been on hold for 20 minutes. The cookers are not fit for purpose given that all 11 knobs have melted. One of the doors is melting too! An oven that cannot be subjected to heat is not a very useful thing...
Would love to actually get hold of someone to see if they can at least send me spare cooker knobs so I can try and use the damn thing! Anyone have an e-mail?
Thanks

GARBAGE. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE

new world do not have spare part for my cooker door glass which shattered for no apparent reason, (has anyone else had this happen). Because my cooker is more than 5 years old it is classed as obsolete by New World, therefore instead of buying a spare part for approx. £60 i will have to buy anew oven, disgusted with this, they gave me a number for another spares company who also don,t have the part,

Bought a new NW60MF oven in October 2017 model 444444186.

Bought a NW60MF oven in October 2017. In 2019 the control knobs melted and I had a right job getting the right parts. Twice the wrong parts were sent. I ended up talking to a technician and sending photos of the parts. Eventually we got the parts. I must admit that the people I spoke to were helpful and what they said they would do they did. It just seems to me that the systems are inadequate or out of date or that the Chinese manufacturers change parts without telling NW.
Then in 2020 my over door hinges snapped. Thats correct, snapped. The door dropped and fell out on one side. Thankfully it wasn't hot and it was caught before hitting the floor.
On inspection the hinges had broken in half.
I tried to buy new hinges even though I now know the steel and design is totally inferior, but what else can I do.
New World systems have been down for a week and I cannot order parts. I look on line and the part number says Parts not in stock and when they are it will take 10 days to be delivered.
What a poor experience I have had. I will never ever by another New World product. I feel sorry for the good staff who work there, they must take some real stick from angry customers and service repair men/women.

I would give 0 if it was available

I would give 0 if it was available. The first cooker we received the hob didn't work (the grill and the oven were ok). We asked Argos for exchange, we got a new one 3 day later and here is a fun bit... the hob and the grill work but the oven doesn't.

This is my third review for NEW WORLD

NThis is my third review for NEW WORLD , I first reviewed in March was contacted, later had their engineer out, he checked oven left his report. Now they know this is a faulty and very dangerous oven. It needs replacing, they agree it’s faulty, so why when I ring for them to resolve it, do I keep getting fobbed off with promises of return calls, that never happen. They have my name, address, phone number , they have checked the oven found it’s faulty and could have resolved this months ago.
UPDATE I managed. To speak to someone on you line 0344 815 3747 today, your colleague Tommy and have made a strong complaint, and requested him to pass it on. He tells me he has emailed everyone. I have sent an email on Tommy’ advise for attention ‘All managers’ to the GDHA email address given by Tommy. I also chose to address to chief executive Chris Daniel. Within this email.

I AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE.

Not happy with my New World freestanding gas cooker

I decided to buy New World freestanding gas cooker on the basis of review and recommendation by Which.co.uk. I bought it from Boots Kitchen Appliances 4 years ago. The gas engineer who connected the cooker to gas supply warned me that heat from the grill will damage the knobs. It did; the silver coloured film covering the knobs has peeled off in places and revealed ugly yellow coloured plastic. There are 2 plastic covers on the grill door, both of them broke and fell out.
The whole appliance is quite tricky to clean, especially the removable glass in the oven door. Also the inside of the burners.
My biggest problem is with the glass cover / lid on top. At first I thought it was a brilliant idea - when closed the lid creates and extra work surface and when open it acts as a screen and protects the wall behind the cooker from splashes. However boiling liquid and hot oil splash and run down the glass lid during cooking and gather at the bottom, where the glass is inserted Into a metal part and this area is very difficult to clean and keep hygienic. After my numerous attempts to remove greasy residue a gap opened up between the glass and metal which stops the lid closing al the way down. I am now trying to obtain various spare parts (knobs, covers etc.) but so far without success.

Newworld Cooker

Bought a newworld cooker with double oven July 2018. The main oven door handle kept falling off and today the oven has stopped working completely. I am sure it is not unreasonable to expect an oven to last for more than 2 years. My advice, avoid New World at all costs

Bang goes my oven door

Bought a new world, new home oven a couple of years back, since having it I've had a few issues with the timer button, as well as the oven cooking unevenly and now finally whilst opening the oven door the other morning, it decided to explode, leaving a thousand pieces of broken glass all upon my bare foot. The oven hadn't been used on the morning it decided shatter, this is highly unusual and must be some kind of fault, as I've never experienced this, even with ovens that are three times this ovens age. I've contacted customer service however, I haven't received a reply. I'm not asking for much, just a reply and a new door. It's a shame.

New World grill doesn’t work

I purchased a New World NW791G built under oven in February 2019 and have had problems with the grill ever since. An engineer has been called 4 times so far as the grill keeps cutting out. I was first told it was because I put tin foil in the grill pan which caused excess heat in the grill and caused the safety thermostat to cut of the gas! Engineer visited again As problem still occurring even after I stopped using tin foil . This time I was told it was the ignition - this was replaced but yet again after a few weeks, it went again. Gas keeps cutting out and can’t use the grill to cook for longer than about 10-15 minutes. Engineer has changed thermostat and ignition but problem still there. Now a metal strip has fallen of the bottom of oven door!. Although now out of warranty and continuous grill problems I have asked for this oven to be exchanged for one that I can use the grill on. So far no joy, even though I am willing to pay for the difference if need be for an oven that works. New world are avoiding the fact that their oven is not fit for purpose and are not getting this problem sorted, especially as it’s been going on from very early on.

WE REPLACED AN OLD STOVES WITH THE NEW…

WE REPLACED AN OLD STOVES WITH THE NEW WORLD AS IT LOOKED IDENTICAL TO IT. I COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. STOVES HAD A SAFETY FEATURE WHERE WHEN YOU SHUT THE LID THE GAS WAS SHUT OFF, NEW WORLD NOT, WE HAD THE STOVES FOR OVER 11 YEARS. THIS WE HAVE HAD JUST OVER 12 MONTHS, THE OVEN HANDLE KEEPS WORKING LOOSE. THE OVEN KEEPS GOING OUT USUALLY WHILE MAKING SUNDAY DINNER, WHICH IS USUALLY THE ONLY TIME WE USE IT. ONE OF THE RINGS SHUT OFF TOO, THERE WERE NO DRAFTS TO BLOW THEM OUT. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS CHEAP NASTY STOVES KNOCKOFF.
