Ordered some Kurt's, didn't fit so I returned them. Company doesn't give me a refund because of a small amount of dirt on them- not even visible at all on the picture they sent me. Garbage return policy, better off somewhere you can actually try the shoes on...

Avoid this company, I ordered a pair of light colored boots with gum soles in my size which were too small. They arrived with minor black marks on the back of the heels, I didn't think anything of it. When I reached back out to inquire on the next size and a no cost exchange up they were already sold out. I could not do an exchange, so I had to pay to return the boots. After I returned the boots I noticed the next size up became available and inquired on a discount (minus the return fee form prior order) off the next size up pair. The representative hesitated and took a few days to offer me a code. In the mean time the boots became sold out again. I finally received a message stating that I was eligible for a 50% refund because of the black marks which were on the soles. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I would give 0 star if possible. It seems like they are a scam. I placed an order and they were supposed to ship the order 2 weeks after I placed it. They immediately charged my credit card. However, it’s been 4 weeks and they still haven’t shipped the order. I tried contacting them multiple times but didn’t get any response back. I think the scammed me. Be careful buying anything from New Republic

Stay away from this company. They do not respond to exchanges and basically have robo emails returning all your requests. At this point I doubt I will even get my money back. Again you have been warned: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHABBY MERCHANDISE.

Bought the brown Allen loafer. Wore them once and the leather started cracking, fading, and peeling. Complained to new republic and was told it was normal wear and tear. Stay away from this company;products look good but are cheaply made, poor quality. Johnston and Murphy and Allen Edmond far superior. New republic = cheap garbage! Put pic of shoe as my profile pic, right before I threw them in the garbage!

They are cheap.
How do I know?
I don't cause I never received them.
They say if the items don't arrive it's the receiver's responsibility.
Don't get fooled by the nice pics.
I think their service is cheaper than their price and quality

I made a mistake ordering from this company even though my friends warned me to stay away. Yes, they are cheap and that's what you get: cheap, ugly, uncomfortable

I received a pair of shoes that I simply tried on. I found that they were too small. I tried to exchange but I was told that a return would have to be made and I would need to re-order. I was then emailed that the shoes had been "clearly worn" because there was a nick on the sneaker and they would not accept the return, and they are sending them back. Not sure how the nick that got there considering I walked maybe 10 feet in my apartment and I put them back in the box. The photos of the sneakers that were send back to me by customer service shows the nick but also show a clearly unworm sole with the sticker still 100% intact and undamaged. I have been a long standing customer and I will be retuning the 3 new pairs that are on their way.

Also, their inventory is very inaccurate and I have ordered shoes in the past and was informed 2 months later that they were out of stock. I was always patient because the shoes were of great quality at a great value but the lack of respect towards the customer is very off-putting and I am disgusted with how they have handled things with me recently.

These are complete garbage. Cheap leather. Not comfortable. Why people actually buy this crap is beyond me. Customer service sucks. It’s a just marketing company that fleeces people on sub par shoes.

LOW QUALITY SHOE - didn't even hold up for 4 months. Honestly, this shoe looked great at first, cleaned it after almost every wear, and wow was shocked at the low quality. Very poor customer service. Stay away your money is better spent on anything else!! Either stick with a pair of vans or save up for a better quality leather sneaker. These are HORRENDOUS!!

I got a pair of New Republic Kurt leather sneakers and the quality of the shoe is excellent for its price. The shoe is also true to its size and the shipping time was incredibly fast for an international delivery which took 4 days. Highly recommend.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. We live in Southern California and it’s only rained once in the month he has had them and they are squeaking an enormous about. They look nice but are poor construction.

New Republic Kurt Sneaker - Tan

Purchased a pair of Kurt sneakers in tan color directly from website during the holidays. Received in a timely fashion but had a small issue with the quality of the shoe. Customer service, via email, responded same day and resolved my problem within 1 business day. Possibly the best customer service I've received in quite some time.

Objectively speaking, this pair 'Suede Chelsea' is not for everyone. If you're naturally Pigeon Toed, then this pair might be comfortable to wear. the orthopedics design forces your big toe outward that others will find uncomfortable. It also makes your posture looks like slue-footed although your feet are straight forward. Aesthetically speaking, this design is too feminine. Lordya on the other hand has enough masculine aesthetics and big toes lays on its natural footing thus more comfortable. Size length is 'True To Size'. I would not buy nor recommend to anybody whose anatomical orhtopedics are normal.

Bought two pairs of New Republic Shoes direct from their website in December 2018.

Pair 1: Chelsea boots. Very tight, almost uncomfortable. Had to wear two pairs of socks and used a hair dryer to loosen up. Seems ok now. Some pilling on the rubber sole near the toe. Purchased one size up from my normal size.

Pair 2: Suede Drivers: Also purchased one size up. Way too small. Toes cramped. Had to return. Although I never wore them, they returned my return saying "Clearly worn" Debates with customer service went back in forth about wear on the shoes. Shoes were never worn, I literally tried them on once. Won't return. I will never buy from them again.

The customer service is TERRIBLE !! It took an entire month for me to get the shoes and throughout the entire shipping process , there were NO UPDATES on the movement of the shoes .

TERRIBLE company, everything about it. Cant talk to anyone live, they said they cant exchange for a different size because of their inconsistent inventory. What a joke. Cant call anyone, only chat support. Weak weak company

I bought a pair of all white men’s sneakers from them and I’m really satisfied with the quality of their shoes and fit. The package comes with a shoe cleaner, a brush, but no white socks as promised.So, I emailed them about the matter and the lady named Lydia; made good of her promise by sending not one, but two pair of socks at no extra cost. No one could beat that, not even the high end sneaker shoes sellers on line, as far as customer service is concerned!

Shoe sizes are completely off, I always buy size 10 but I had to return the shoes as they were too large. Pictures on the web site are not accurate for the products. I then returned the shoes and was never credited back on my card.

Quality style and grace, with many stores in my city which is New York I head to new republic for all my shoes great prices and great shoes I’m looking forward to all the new styles to come thanks “New Republic” needed
