We recently had a snagging survey carried out by James and couldn’t be happier with the service.

He was professional, thorough, and clearly very knowledgeable. The inspection was extremely detailed, and the report was sent through the same day, which was really impressive. It has given us real confidence when going back to the developer with the issues identified.

Overall, a fantastic service, efficient, reliable, and well worth it. We would highly recommend to anyone buying a new build property.

Absolutely worth booking a snagging inspection with New Home Surveying. Especially for new builds that can hide all sorts of issues that only show themselves later, but James’s attention to detail was exceptional. When you’re making one of the biggest purchases of your life, this level of reassurance is invaluable. After reading our report, I’m so grateful we made the decision to go ahead.

James & Sean were absolutely brilliant.

They were extremely professional, completed the work to a high standard, kept me informed throughout the process and got the completed report to me within a couple of hours of finishing the job.

They managed to pick up 1 major defect and 48 minor defects inside & outside my home, and now I can use this to talk to my developers to help make some needed adjustments & changes.

For anyone thinking about professional snagging, I would highly recommend these guys. Very fairly priced, and excellent with communication throughout the entire process.

I recently used New Home Surveying for a snagging inspection, and I'm genuinely impressed.

Initially, I considered booking both pre-completion and post-completion snags. However, they advised against it, explaining that it would be redundant and cost me unnecessary money. They recommended a single, comprehensive inspection, which I appreciated for its honesty and cost-saving.

Sean and James were highly efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough during the inspection. They identified every detail. I cannot recommend New Home Surveying enough. James and Sean are 2 of the nicest people you could meet. Both incredibly professional and took the time to tell me what the issues were, why they were issues and what should be done.

They are incredibly thorough and their spreadsheet tracker and reports are brilliant.

I feel so much better for having them in to inspect my new build and for the peace of mind alone it's worth the expense. Not to mention that the survey has more than paid for itself with the remedial works highlighted.

On time and professional - very thorough and took the time to discuss some pertinent points while on site, offering genuine advise and guidance, with an email follow up only a few hours later.

I will highly recommend the services of James and Sean for anyone looking to snag their new build. For someone like me who knew next to nothing about building and stuffs, they took time to explain the scope of their services, what the report will entail and how to go about resolution. Fantastic snagging report prepared by James and Sean for our new build purchase. It had already been delayed by months for "snagging" so I had a feeling there might still be issues, hence hiring professionals.

The guys arrived promptly on a Saturday morning and took time to thoroughly go over the whole house, from roof space to gardens, taking detailed photos and descriptions of the issues found, as well as talking me through the remediation steps.

The report that arrived later the same day had everything laid out in a logical order, accompanied by detailed photos and a very useful tracker to allow me to keep abreast of works as they (hopefully) are undertaken by the developer.

I would recommend these guys and the service they offer to anyone buying a new-build, the things they found would not always have caused immediate issues but future repair costs would have been high, I feel this alone makes the cost worthwhile.

James and Sean are great at what they do - they know what they're talking about and pick up on snags that you just wouldn't have thought of or noticed, but would have caused problems if not caught. I was in two minds as to whether or not a snagging survey would be worth it, as I'd heard of some people who regretted it. Not the case with these guys - definitely worth the money.

A full thorough inspection of the house, both external and internal, was completed over several hours, making sure nothing was missed. Using a drone, and thermal imaging equipment to aid their process.

They then created a PDF report with accompanying photos and descriptions of all of the issues and also a useful spreadsheet to keep track with the developer for making good all the items.

Most of our issues were fortunately minor items, but a couple of issue found which could cause huge financial cost to repair in the future so it’s well worth the initial investment to get these professionals in to identify issues we hadn't noticed ourselves.

They also took some cool external photos from their drone of our house and neighbourhood which was a bonus!
