Dominic came and did a quote in Nov 2025 to add a downpipe, clean the West facing stone wall which was almost black, clean and inspect the roof. He sent me a quote which we accepted as it was reasonable and we set up a date for May.
The additional down pipe was installed professionally the day before the cleaning.
I confirmed the day before with Dominic that they would be here as the weather forecast was positive. They arrived just before 8 as promised. An inspection was done confirming that the roof was in good shape and pointed out some small things, but said there were no problems.
The wall that was almost black is now back to the pristine rock colours, treated and sealed, and the roof is cleaned and treated.
The gutters were all cleaned.
All the guys were respectful and just got on with the work.They took care to protect plants under the roof eaves that may get affected by the treatment.

I am really happy and can only compliment them on a job well done.

Dominic identified two problems with my downpipes and fixed them promptly. I could easily have been overcharged by another company who over-quoted me for unnecessary work. Dominic's call-out rate is very reasonable. I would use Newgents again.

Newgents cleaned the blackened Island Stone at the front of our bungalow. It now looks amazing and blends with the new extension.

My first experience with Newgents was during some super heavy rainfall and our old Victorian guttering was leaking really badly in several spots, including right in front of the front door.
I did a quick Google search and the 1st people who came up just said no. Too busy. Same with the next people but at least they were nicer and said look, everyone is busy right now but try Newgents, I know the owner and if he can possibly help you out, he will. Well, he was not wrong! I was lucky enough to get Chris on the phone and he managed to squeeze me in the next morning. He was so friendly and helpful. Immediately spotted the problems and fixed them swiftly plus explained various options for the longer term, even cleaned out the area he could reach and reinforced a few extra joints with sealant for no extra charge.
Such amazing service needs to be shouted about. We've used him and his team again and again for other services now as have our neighbours and I didn't hesitate to recommend them to my mum to replace her guttering when she said it needed doing. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

These guys are the best! Completely honest, gave us great advice and recommendations when others would've happily just taken our money. Highly recommended!
