Very poor experience

Very poor - no care for the staff they put in place or the clients they service. They are willing to put people in situations they are not trained for, and don’t care about the impact on that individual or the client and children at the school. Very questionable and I would highly recommend to potential schools to look elsewhere

Petty

Very poor practices. Despite insisting you update the availability calendar they don’t follow it. And if you dare to ask a question about rates or something similar expect a work drought……….
It’s demoralising to have your livelihood in the hands of people who act so pettily

Sophia and Jen were incredible

I joined New directions as a brand new ECT, within days of being given the all clear I was given jobs. This led to me being offered long term supply at one of the schools I know have a job in. I cannot recommend them enough and Sophia and Jen were incredible and made the whole experience so easy!

Thank you ladies x

I worked for New Directions for six…

I worked for New Directions for six months: they are a fantastic agency. The staff really care about their cover supervisors. I requested to do supervision covering English classes and without fail, all the work they offered me was on my own subject. They were excellent at building relationships between the schools I was working in and myself, which made my time with them a lot more stress free than it otherwise could have been.

Bad company!

As said before , questionable practices. The staff here will put you on placement where they want you to be, not where/what you've asked. This company will be amazing for the first half of recruitment and then as soon as you're on there books you will not be listened to at all. For your own sake if you are looking for school work use a company like excell or somewhere else . ND are supposed to be a company that listens to what suits you best but they will NOT do this . They will simply put you where they want you to be . Bad company!
