Netatmo thermostat unreadable …
Just had the most horrendous experience with Netatmo customer support. My thermostat, which has up till now remained flawless, is simply unreadable. According to their forum and across social media, this is not an isolated case, citing that most become unreadable in 3 years and certainly worthy of investigation. They offered me 20% off a new thermostat in Netatmo’s online shop, which takes it closer to the full price quoted on Amazon etc. All their remediations involve a considerable cost and inconvenience to the customer. This attitude is disappointing and disgusting. ‘Have a nice day’ Netatmo!

Reliable Products. Great Support. Highly Recommended
We have been using Netatmo products (for many years in our home and also our holiday chalet). We have outdoor cameras, indoor cameras, smoke alarms, and home weather stations. All the products are reliable, cost effective, and very informative. we recently learned that it is possible to access logged and archived data online, and to be able to download it. This has proven to be extremely helpful. Netatmo support was quick and gave straightforward answers. Highly recommended.
Faulty Camera Replacement
When my recently purchased Smart Outdoor Camera developed a fault, I contacted Netatmo for assistance. Pleasingly, the customer service I received was excellent from start to finish. Lionel at Netatmo could not have done more to help me, for which I am very grateful. I now have a new camera protecting my driveway and it is working perfectly. Thank you!

Extremely not recommend to buy this product. Very expensive toy. Very unreliable, even once horribly setup, it disconnects unexpectedly from time to time with cool WiFi. What a shame to sell such product !!!

The Netatmo support quickly resolved the problem with my cameras. They explained to me what i had to do to help rectify the problem. They were able to run a complete diagnostics on the cameras and gave me feed back on the results of the diagnostics. i would have no hesitation in recommending Netatmo products based on the support i received

Tried to get help from Netatmo to sort out the display- no joy .
Bought a new one, now the new one does not connect to the system- again no help from Netatmo! !
No telephone numbers to call. Disgusting 🤮 service. Keep away from this company as there is no pride in their product or services 😡

Beware of non-existent customer support and have backup plan
I just loved my Netatmo TRVs. I just loved all about them. However, sometimes, they developed a mind on their own, where they don't close the radiator properly, despite saying heating is off. This has happened to us randomly on different valves, went on for months like that, tried everything, first time customer service replied after 4 months with no real help, now apparently there is just no way to contact them. So unfortunately, as much as I love them, just have to get rid of them, otherwise we are just sweating and wasting energy... just can't see any other way to sort this out now...

Great customer service
Had a Netatmo smart smoke alarm that came up with a low battery warning after 5 years of use .
Since it should last 10 years i wrote to the support of
Netatmo and after showing them pictures of the warning ,they concluded that the smoke alarm might be defective ,and can not be repaired .
They hereafter send me a new unit .
I am thrilled that they did this without any hesitation :-)
Disappointing
Thing is, I moved and tried using the camera again, but error code 0097-00003 showed up. I read that it might be an anti-theft code and that I need to email support, but I can’t find their contact info anywhere on the website.

Netamo camera does not work properly
I have installed an external camera but it does not work properly it keeps being triggered by the plume from our boiler. Support is absolutely rubbish.
I have also had to change the SIM in it.
Typical of Netamo why can't they just contact me. If your boiler produces a plume why is it triggering my camera. The camera is rubbish. The one in our garden gets triggered as a car and it is only me with my high Vis jacket on. It does recognise things properly. Do Not buy this security camera. Pile of rubbish and their service. If you were genuine you would bend over backwards to resolve the problems.

Thermostats are not worth it
The Netatmo radiator thermostats burn through batteries so quickly that it barely makes sense.
A thermostat operates about 2 months on a set of quality AA batteries. For a medium-sized house (140 m² - 7 units), it costs around €14 every two months in AA batteries.
Having to replace the batteries in the thermostat so often is such an inconvenience, and it becomes practically unbearable if you have radiator covers on some of the installations.
If you leave a thermostat over the summer with 'dead' batteries, the digital display permanently dies, meaning the thermostat itself becomes unusable. A replacement costs approximately €65-70.
I live in a temperate climate (Denmark), category 'Cfb,' to give you an idea of the conditions in which the thermostats were installed.
2-star rating: 1 star for the fact that the system works brilliantly (as long as the batteries last), and 1 star for the user-friendly app and the programming possibilities available.
[edit:] I used a full set of Netatmo thermostats for 4 years in my house, before changing back to conventional thermostats.

My thermostat (10 month old) stopped connecting with the bridge. The thermostat was like frozen with the display not reacting to app or manual inputs.
I tried everything. Along other things, Ichanged the batteries, twice, turned on ad off the WiFi, … and did reset the whole installation. No effect. My heating would not start because of the failing thermostat.
Online help is useless. Writing an email is useless as no one answers. There is no hotline to call.
The only potential help comes from the users community, organized by netatmo and you will see that it’s only users helping each other. No communication from Netatmo. You can subscribe to alerts but can not unsubscribe.
I had Nest for 9 years in a different place and never experienced any issue. This is only anecdotal evidence based on personal experience, you can say.
Yet the lack of support is obvious to everyone.
It Netatmo responds to this post, I am pretty sure this will be by an automated response with boilerplate phrases.
Very VERY disappointing.
