Auto loan rates were crap! I have two pre approvals for a full 1% less than the offers from Nerdwallet. Do you homework, check multiple sources before making a decision.
Rates too high. Too many spam calls immediately after. Credit Karma had better rates from the same companies and had even more options. This was fast to see offers though.

The rates that they offered on the first page seemed really nice until you actually click on one of the links. Then, the rates more than doubled.

Deceptive Practices - No Surprise
Like basically every other business these days, NerdWallet lures you in with misleading link titles.
I was looking specifically for a loan that includes a cosigner in the initial pre-qualification stage. NerdWallet had a link titled "Co-Signed or Joint Personal Loans in 2025 - NerdWallet" so I clicked it. I filled out all of the requested information, including my email address - even though I read the small print that said they are going to give my information to other companies (sharks) who are now going to spam me trying to get my business. (Sometimes you have to sell your soul to the "devil.") When I clicked the final button, rather than switching to a page asking for my cosigners information, it gave me 4 HORRIBLE offers (ranging anywhere from 28% - 42% interest)! There was nowhere for me to click a button that would take me to a different area of their website, no option to see how my offers changed with the inclusion of a cosigner, nothing.
It would be mind-blowing if for once, a company could just offer what they actually claim to be offering. How is it even legal to gain business through lies? I'm pretty sure I remember when "false advertising" was against the law.
NerdWallet: leading with lies and false advertisement, like every other corporate monster in the United States.
