I've used Neokyo a lot over the past 2+ years to buy on yahoo auctions. It offers a very reliable service and the packaging is outstanding. I've recently experience a delivery issue, Neokyo's support was fantastic and resolved the issue very quickly with the delivery service company. Neokyo provides a top notch service possibly normal for Japanese but it is extra premium by American standards.

What made my experience great is how easy it is to purchase products from Mercari. The shipping process is simple, and the prices are really good—I mean, for real!
If I were to ship these products from Japan to my country directly, it would be insanely expensive. I hope they keep the site working exactly the way it is right now! :)

Packaging was excellent, time getting from Japan to a different country wasn't bad either. Will consider buying with this service again once tariff prices hopefully go down.

Does the phrase "de minimis" ring a bell? Know the difference between DDU and DDP? What constitutes an "item line fee"? Can you fill out a DHL customs declaration form yourself? These are important questions to ask before using Neokyo in 2026.

I’ve used Neokyo in the past without issue, and while you will eventually receive your orders, their handling of current U.S. tariff issues is marked by a lack of transparency and communication.

Is your storage time coming to an end with a pending order that is over a month late. Can you get an update on the situation? "Please do not reach out to the team for further information as our operator do (sic) not follow up on individual order situation (sic)." Quoted a shipping price and then it doubles or triples when you get to the final payment page due to "taxes and etc." and want to understand what exactly this "etc." is? "Neokyo can not 'breakdown' the DDP value for a specific shipment, it has to be taken at face-value." The only way to get meaningful customer service responses is through other customers via Discord.

Seeking answers on Discord means sifting through endless threads and arguments. Customers are doing the heavy lifting of support, only to be met with "If you don’t like it, find another proxy!" when asking legitimate questions. When items sit in limbo for months, the community cites "Japanese business etiquette" as an excuse, yet that same professional courtesy isn't extended to the customers paying for it. At Neokyo, it feels like it's your privilege to give them your money.

Neokyo’s "don't ask us" attitude is a major red flag. Offloading customer support to AI and fellow customers on Discord while being vague about "taxes and etc." is a poor way to build trust. If they want repeat business, they need to provide expert advice and clear pricing rather than leaving customers to navigate the confusion alone.

Neokyo is simply the best, packaging is perfect and everything always goes smoothly.
