Entering into the EV world is an initial minefield ; but after recommendation to Neil at Nemac-EV he totally put my mind at rest - Formal clear quotes linking into National Grid for approval to scheduling the Charging point fit was seamless - The job itself was tidy and to my request with full demo on how best to use and sync to Octopus and Tesla

I recently had an EV charger installed and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, the quote was straightforward, and every step of the process was explained in a way that made things easy to understand.

On the day of installation, the engineer arrived on time, worked efficiently, and took real care with both the setup and the finish. The cabling was neatly routed, everything was tested thoroughly, and I was shown exactly how to use the charger before they left. We made a part exchange with the dealer and bought a used EV, before we had a 7.4kW wall charger being setup. We thought we could rely on 13A granny cable but it was not fast enough.

Contacted Octopus, but the queue is at least 16 weeks! Obviously we needed someone to come and help us installing a good charger.

Here comes Neil, and we found him from here, too! A truly professional and friendly person, and he installed it for us within 10 days, mind you, including the lead time for material ordering!

Now we are enjoying the full potential of an EV, and THANK YOU NEIL!

After getting zero notice of my EV car delivery by the supplier i reached out to afew national ev point suppliers. No-one could get to me for 'at least' 6 weeks, minimum and they all wanted paying upfront. Googled afew local suppliers and cross referenced trust pilot, which is where i found Nemac-EV. They said theyd hopefully be able to install within 3 weeks, depending whether the upgrade work was approved by national grid when they applied to install the EV charge point. They can help you pick the right charging point for your home circumstances (we for example had zero wifi at proposed site for charger, but had a full 3g signal) After I sent them the required survey photos they ended up quoting, getting the work approved by national grid and fitting our home charger all within a fortnight. And, more importantly, before any national company i had registered with even got back to me! They were very professional, had knowledge we hadnt found online, were patient and clarified and answered all our queries or questions. They also invoice for payment AFTER the install was successfully completed, unlike almost everyone else i found online who required payment before theyd even ask for survey photos etc. I would not hesitate to either use their services again, or recommend Nemac-EV to anyone who requires a home EV charging point. Very knowledgeable, excellent communication and included the surge protection now required, which some national companies wanted to charge as an optional 'extra'. If you require a home EV charge point use Nemac-EV and you'll hopefully be as happy as we are with their services.

We've experienced 12 months of to-ing and fro-ing by one of the large national installers who, when after visits of their engineers, they appeared ready to install, found yet another problem preventing them from going ahead. Along comes Neil from Nemac, what problems he says 'cabling 6 mtrs through an air vent below the lounge, we'll find a solution! 5 hrs later ev charger installed! A 'can do' attitude, job completed without a moan and entirely to our satisfaction!!

Nemac-EV were the 1st firm I contacted for installation of a charger. Neil came within 4 days and did a professional site inspection backed up by e-mail info of the various options/chargers and a quote.
In comparison, the on-line quotes required lots of photos and still ended with "we will have to check . . ." Don't bother with all that, Nemac are competitive in price and faultless in service, - from a text to give arrival time to a clean area when finished. Paperwork for National Grid fuse upgrade all done for us too. Thoroughly recommended.

I contacted Neil after becoming frustrated at the poor service and response from the large companies.
I recall that Neil came to quote on a weekend and showed more knowledge and attention to detail than the other engineers and customer service people I had previously spoken with.
All work done very nicely and in the time frame quoted for.

Just had a EV charger fitted by Neil and his team excellent service from initial contact, survey, quote and installation, quick and neat installation including sorting all of the paperwork.

Neil came to me on recommendation and didn't disappoint with the levels of service, advice and delivery. EV home charging is a minefield and Neil helped me to navigate these challenges and deal with any issus that arose. The job had to be rescheduled a number of times due to problems with our District Network Operator (DNO) and Neil was very understanding and flexible. Would recommend Nemac-EV to anyone considering the change to EV

Neil was able to offer a free quote in person which was much easier than the normal online forms which required many pictures. I received a competitive quote and an extremely neat installation which was exactly what we asked for, the installation took into consideration the character of our property and has been installed as discretely as possible.
