Game Changing Tech! Navimow X430!

I got the Navimow X430 and most recently the Garage X to protect it from the elements a bit more. Gotta say… I love this mower! Been waiting years for a product like this!
The mower seems very sturdy and has no problems with the bumpy terrain in my yard.
The cut quality has been top notch and with the right settings enabled it covers edges very well, leaving me with even less to weedeat then with my old standard riding mower.
My favorite thing about it has to be the tech in place though! The app has been excellent! I’m not running into any weird glitches or crashing so far. The automatic mowing schedule was easy to set up and small mowing adjustments like cut direction and height are simple to change.
Overall, it’s been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Paid…and now in Limbo with no mower!

This could have been a glowing review of the new Navimow 2 Lidar robot mower….if only it had arrived. But it hasn’t and no-one has explained why, or what they are doing about it despite having taken my payment 8 days ago and despite many attempts both via email and via the Navimow Zen Desk chat bot/online agents to get some answers. The mower was despatched promptly on March 30 via UPS but got stuck en route due to a “hazardous material incident”. I alerted Customer Service who promised to look into it. When nothing happened I made contact via the Chatbot service and an apologetic Navimow agent escalated the problem to the Logistics team indicating that “wrong labelling or incorrect documentation” was the likely problem. OK…but how so? Surely Navimow sell and despatch multiples of their robotic mowers and clearly ought to have the labelling process honed to perfection. It is now over a week since I paid for the mower. Despite statements that this has been ‘escalated’ several times, I have been unable to get any other information and no one has taken the elementary step of emailing me with a meaningful update: what exactly went wrong, how did it happen, what are they doing to progress my purchase to delivery or to send out a replacement. It simply isn’t Customer Service Navimow should be proud of. I just want a substantive explanation and reassurance that this is being sorted PDQ. Isn’t that reasonable?

Update following Navimow’s reply below.
I have done as you ask - although I would stress that I have supplied that information on multiple occasions already to that email address and am surprised and perplexed that you are not already aware of it.
Further update: the Mower has finally arrived! Customer Support has been very apologetic and I realise that Navimow Logistics Division tried hard to resolve the problem, so I am grateful for that. I do hope that other customers have a less stressful experience!

An amazing piece of engineering

An amazing piece of engineering! So easy to set up and operate… great software.., easy to map multiple areas to mow and schedule… just disappointing that I purchased early and missed out on the $200 discount… but worth it to make sure I was able to have the X430 for the entire mowing season.

Damaged Mowgate returned

Original review was a 2 star after receiving a damaged mowgate. As of writing this now, I have sent the damaged one back and I am awaiting a new one. Hopefully this process occurs this week. The process was not hard to get a replacement but is a slow one.

Love my Navimow X430

Love my Navimow X430. Easy to set up, map and mow. Spectacular app...very intuitive. The robot does an amazingly thourough job depending on how detailed you are in mapping. I have a complex yard with 35° slopes, odd shaped mulch beds, street curbs, etc. Nothing is a problem. It is one of those things that just works!

Coupon codes did not work despite terms…

Coupon codes did not work despite terms saying they were applicable. “Live” chat support took 2+ hours to find an answer.

Update: Navimow contacted me about this review and apologized (exactly what they responded here publicly). They offered me free cutting blade replacements, which was appreciated. They have asked me to update my review here, so I have added this additional information but the substance of my initial review remains unchanged.

I tried to delay my purchase even after…

I tried to delay my purchase even after talking to support, but the shipping team shipped anyways and I needed to scramble to get my mover stored while I was out of town.

I further worked with support and they were great and made it right.

Love my Navimow but it still has some…

Love my Navimow but it still has some issues despite being the top of the line. It is terrible at dealing with the edges of my lawn and regularly gets stuck putting a wheel off. I think the X4 would benefit significantly from LIDAR. Also, I wanted to locate the unit next to my house but without a perfect view of the sky, I cannot get the mower to accept that as a base. Ideally, I should be able to have the unit be able to move in and out of sky view given the local antenna and the advertised RTK and 4G capability. Hopefully this can be addressed with software updates.

Excellent Support

I’m giving 5 stars primarily for the fantastic customer service. I made an error during checkout, but the Navimow team corrected it effortlessly and kept me in the loop the entire time. I received my order yesterday and everything looks like great quality. It’s rare to find support this responsive and helpful. Extremely satisfied!

Super Impressed With This Mower!

I'm several days into having my Navimow H220 in charge of my yard...and I couldn't be more satisfied. It was pretty much an "out of the box" implementation. A few things to set up with the app, get the onboard software updated, give it some waypoints, and it was off and mowing! Plus, the cut angle feature was a pleasant surprise. I thought I would need to set that for my mow schedule, but it automatically changes it each time it starts a new job. I literally don't have to think twice about it doing a great job. Plus, the lines on my yard look amazing! I can't wait to get the Navimow Gate installed in my fence so that it has the ability to seamlessly move from front to back yards. It will truly be a near-zero-touch effort for lawn maintenance...and I just gained 1.5hrs-2.5hrs a week back with my family. My neighbors are already jealous.

The mower itself does a great job but alot of room for improvement

The mower itself does a great job, though it would be better if it could get closer to the edges — even with the beta feature turned on, it still leaves quite a bit for me to clean up with the weed eater. My biggest complaint is the automatic gate opener, which is inconsistent and takes a couple of tries to trigger. I ended up super gluing another magnet to the front, which helped a little but didn’t fully solve it. Overall I’m happy with what it does, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.
