why I use NativeDSD
I mostly use streaming, but I still like to own the albums that really mean something to me. That’s why I use NativeDSD. It’s a great place to find and keep high-quality files for my personal collection. Their library is easy to browse, and I often find hidden gems just by looking through their catalog. It’s become a regular stop for me every month.

Slow Download sperd
Everything went well except for the download speed which varied between less than 200 kb up to a max of about 5 mb / s
And this was not due to my Internet Connectionn which should allow downloads of up to 75 MB / s

I thought Wagner's Ring would be great…
I thought Wagner's Ring would be great to hear on DSD, so I started with my favourite - Walkyrie. But, I was disappointed in that it was a live recording and the singers were not all first class. The conductor was a guarantee that the music would be good. In the end I decided it was not a good idea to buy the other three too.

4 stars by the moment... web is hepful and full of choices, but now i am trying to set my Burson Conductor 3X GT to play at DSD512 instead of DSD128. I downloaded at 512 & 256, but both sets at 128....

I was not sure about the tracks I was…
I was not sure about the tracks I was downloading based on the recommendation of a friend and I didn;t want to keep them Then I noticed in fact there is no recourse even based on dissatisfaction in purchase to have credit applied to another purchase, which I had planned on many. Now due to this non recourse no refund/credit whatsoever, I will find my hi res audio choices elsewhere with a less stringent policy. I need some wiggle room to try out the selections, and even with a streaming function, I like to know I have a minor grace period before the door closes. However NativeDSD Music Support was very responsive and personally willing to help with my issue.

The audio quality is just amazing
The audio quality is just amazing! The main benefit is that there is no guessing, whether you are actually getting top notch high-res audio, unlike some other sites, which sometimes distribute upsampled standard resolution masters.
I encountered two minor issues preventing me to give the five-star rating:
With one of the albums, I had metadata issues, that my Denon HEOS system could not pick-up album art and track numbers properly and I had to fix the metadata using MP3Tag. (While UAPP was able to read metadata with no issues.)
The NativeDSD Music website is a bit slower to respond, and I also encountered some errors when trying to save albums to my wish list recently.

The quality of the reproduced music…
The quality of the reproduced music gets me closer to being there at the Venue or Performance.
Please fix the web site, sometimes its seems to loop when I have selected an item and go to check out and then login then try to continue to check out, the site seems to just loop forever!
