Bad Business
I spent two thousand euros on tiles for our kitchen and hall area. We mis calculated the floor measurements and needed 6 additional tiles.
When my husband went to the store and asked if they could give them at the same price, given we had spent 2000 euros on tiles only a few weeks previously they refused and charged by husband 220 euros.
This is bad business and extremely short sighted as I have further tiling to do in my house, however I will not purchase from this store nor recommend to anyone on the above basis,
In response to managers reply:
Many businesses empower their staff to use their discretion and offer discounts to customers, especially customers who have just spent 2000 euros in your store.
Regarding storing and delivering tiles free of charge, is this not standard practice? I called to complain about my husband being charged the full price for the few extra tiles which is my right as a customer. I at no stage asked you to reduce the price or refund me, however I wanted to make it clear that you had lost my business and that it was bad business to not give the tiles at the sale price which was 20% off the RRP. I am entitled to give an honest review of my dealing with your business. Your response to my review speaks volumes about how you treat customers.
