I recently bought a property, and Storm at Napthens took care of the conveyancing. She was professional, efficient and clear. I'm very happy with the service I received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

For over two years, we had made concerted efforts to engage the other party in dialogue in order to amicably settle a breach of contract dispute. When this proved unsuccessful, we sought the support of our MP but the goverment department concerned would not intervene.

Within three weeks of taking instructions, Napthens obtained for us a substantial offer of damages, which we were happy to accept.

Myself and my partner recently used Napthens Solicitors when we bought our first property. The service was extremely efficient, the sale went through very quickly and we were happy with the advice and service we received from our appointed solicitor, Storm Hunt.
Both Storm and other members of staff that we had communications with, were friendly, helpful and professional. Therefore I would highly recommend their services to others.

The service we received from Napthens during our house buying was faultless and we couldn't have asked for anything more as our needs were seen and dealt with before we had a chance to ask.
This is the 2nd time I have used Zenub at Napthens and both times she has been on the ball and perfect to deal with.

We instructed Napthens to act as our conveyancing solicitors. It went very smoothly in a timely way. I felt confident that our solicitor, Sally Calvert, was on top of her plan and kept us informed in a professional though friendly way. Napthens right up front were transparent about costs and honoured their quote with no hidden extras. They anticipated the process and did'nt wait to be prompted into action by a phone call or letter which lead to a timely completion. It made the whole experience much less stressful than previous experiences with conveyancing and was an unexpected pleasure. Having recently bought and sold a property using Napthens, I would highly reccomend.

We were fortunate enough to be able to buy before we sold our place (to avoid being in a chain), the buying process from start to finish was 7 weeks :).

The sale of our other home took a little longer, but that was down to delays at the other side and Napthens (Amy & Lauren) kept us well informed.

Sean Aldridge and Jennifer Darwen were informed of a leaking roof in a disabled 78 year old's house on 9th Feb 2021 at the start of the day. It's now Friday 12th and they are failing to secure a firm to undertake the work despite them being responsible for the care and maintenance of the property.
Update Day 8 and still no response to emails and calls. It's rained, the ceiling is soaked, damage is being done.

This is the second time we have used Napthens for the sale/purchase of a property. On both occasions they have been very helpful and efficient. Fees are explained at the start of the process. They always answer or return phone calls and emails and know exactly where in the process you are. We were kept well informed of progress being made. We have also used them for probate and had a similar experience.

We used Napthens Preston for our first home purchase and we will definitely go back to this firm when we decide to move again.

Our solicitor was Simon and he was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. He kept us updated at every stage of the way and made an incredibly stressful process that little bit easier for us.

Simon worked with us to help us understand the process and what was required at each stage, he handled all communication professionally and ensured he understood our needs and timeframes. He made sure the vendor's solicitors kept to the timeframes too, and chased up when needed.

I can't recommend Napthens more. I have dealt with them with twice, once with probate and the next with buying a house and they provided a very professional service both times keeping me informed throughout. Brilliant service! Our dedicated solicitor was fantastic from start to finish, guiding us expertly through the conveyancing process and working extremely hard on our behalf to push through the deal as quickly and efficiently as possible. Despite our many phone calls and emails, which were due to hold-ups elsewhere in our chain and circumstances beyond Napthens’ control, she answered everything speedily and kept us calm and realistic.

Started off quite well, everything was moving along quickly and they were responsive to our queries. After a little while, we stopped receiving replies to some emails and our solicitor (Jayne) was actually rather passive-aggressive, sometimes I braced myself before opening one of her emails because of the tone she used which made me very hesitant to chase her. She also went on annual leave for a period of time and the person dealing with her work actually hung up on us and ignored our emails, which was just unprofessional. No updates were provided unless we asked a couple of times, we were buying a no chain, freehold property but the process still look 5 months start to finish and we aren’t sure what the hold up actually was. The only way we managed to actually get the process moving along was to formally complain, and magically everything was sorted in a matter of days after that. They also tried to charge us more at the end than they had originally quoted us for. We might have just had an overworked solicitor as we are aware that they are very busy at the moment, but honestly I wouldn’t use them again as working with them was just stressful. We thought going for the pricier option would mean we get a better service but we are wishing we used a smaller local company now! Needless to say we are in the house now and they did do their job, I think customer service should be more of a focus and a bit of consistency with responses and standard of care should be looked at in future.

Nicole Chrisham has been nothing short of amazing for the purchase of our new house. Our house buying experience hasn't been the best due to other incompetent solicitors (from the selling of the old property). If all solicitors worked as well as Nicole, moving house wouldn't be one of the top most stressful things! She has always been reachable by phone or by email. She has explained everything so thoroughly - i would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks so much Nicole!
