Nahuit's Teate ships directly from China
Nahuit's Teate product ships straight from China to your home, rather than storing a certain amount of inventory in the US and ensuring competitive shipping times. I ordered on Dec 19, and from Dec 19-24 the tracking was just a stream of updates as the package bounced between different locations in China.
I don't ever post negative reviews, but what pushed me over the edge is the response I received after asking to return the product:
"Obviously you don't read the announcements or the description before buying anything. We made it clear that on the website that the last day to order in time is 12/15, it's literally in 2 different places. How much more explicit does it need to get?"
To be clear, while there may have been something posted somewhere, I can assure you that I looked for it and didn't find it when I was placing the order (as any reasonable person would who is hoping not to disappoint their loved ones with a late Christmas gift). Not to mention that they don't mention in the checkout how long shipping takes, which is not surprising given that the product is shipping from China.
Lastly, when I bought this I was deciding between Nahuit and several virtually identical options on Amazon with solid reviews for a fraction of the price. I generally try to support American businesses when they're competing with low-cost Chinese sellers on Amazon, but charging more, shipping slower, and then being rude when a customer asks for a return is not a winning formula.
