Sold invalid QR code tickets

Purchased 2 tickets from Event Tickets Center for Father of the Bride at local theater. Sent QR code tickets that venue could not read and claimed were invalid--attendees with valid tickets already in seats sold by ETC. Venue sold us comparable seats for less than a quarter of price paid ETC. Filed claim for refund. After opaque "investigation," MyTicketTracker found "in favor of seller." Making claim with Better Business Bureau and Consumer Fraud division of state's Attorney General office.

Ticket Scammer

I thought I was purchasing two tickets to see Bee Gees at the Weinberg Theatre. The price was $252 for third row center seats. We were given seats HH - 1&2 all the way in the back of theatre.
Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I was paying a ticket scammer. Thought I was purchasing directly from the theater. Tickets were $52 each. So Ticket Tracker made $150 off of my purchase.
I will be making a complaint to the Consumer Protection Agency.

The ticket price changed to almost…

The ticket price changed to almost double the cost of what I seen the cost of the ticket was after purchasing, tired to contact company to fix this and they just said sorry can't do anything. Do not use this company unless you feel like throwing away money! Terrible.

I didn't use them to buy tickets but…

I didn't use them to buy tickets but after downloading my tickets from Event Tickets Center, I received an email from My Ticket Tracker saying the venue reissued the tickets and the old tickets were invalid. It gave several links and gave a PIN to enter and instructions on how to get the new tickets. It was the day before the concert and seemed odd to me so I ignored the email.

I purchased tickets online in Oct, They are scammers

I purchased tickets online in Oct. of 2023 for a Christmas show 2 hours away from home. When we got to the venue on Nov. 5 I was turned away. The manager told me I had been scammed and when I called company they told me there is nothing they can do. I unfortunately went through paypal to pay for these tickets that I never received. I have been battling them for my money back for almost 2 years. HORRIBLE DISHONEST COMPANY.

This company is a rip-off

This company is a rip-off! I bought tickets for a show at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, OR. Do not use MyTicketTracker! They charged me a ridiculous amount and when I tried to cancel and get a refund, they didn't respond. I tried to get my money back through PayPal and they didn't resolve my dispute. Instead they sided with the seller. I doubt I'll ever see the ticket I 'purchased' through MyTicketTracker.

These people are crooks.

These people are crooks.
I bought tickets well over a month ago from what I thought was a legit vendor. Now, 3 days before the Monster truck show my 5yr old was SO excited for I get an email saying my tickets are cancelled and they wanted to give me a 50% voucher to use in the future. No thanks. Got in touch with them and they told me some song and dance about their provider backing out but not to worry because they were to be met with large fines. I asked them if that money would be passed onto the users who were affected by this or if the company would just pocket it. Dead air on the other end of the phone.
These people are crooks. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

FORWARD MESSAGES FROM THIS COMPANY TO…

FORWARD MESSAGES FROM THIS COMPANY TO TICKETMASTER'S FRAUD DEPARTMENT! This company is using Ticketmaster's website to commit fraud. I received a message from mytickettracker.com directing me to transfer tickets I bought from Event Tickets Center to a person whose name I did not recognize. It said I should login to my Ticketmaster account to transfer the tickets. I bought the tickets from another unscrupulous company, Event Tickets Center, and was able to successfully get a refund from them. I never accepted the tickets from Event Tickets Center so they would not have been in my Ticketmaster account. I believe these companies are working together to scam people. Buyer beware!

This company is a scam!

If I could put zero I would! This company fraudulently sold tickets for the Houston livestock show to the tune of almost 3k to crooks who high jacked my Amex acct number…luckily Amex backs their customers! Amex denied payment, and NOW, the crooks are trying to further the scam by sending me an email explaining they received a chargeback for the tickets, and proceeded to give me instructions with a name and order number to whom I need to transfer the tickets to that are “under my possession!” No tickets are “under my possession,” so seems to me they’re trying to trick me into actually making the purchase by transferring them. Scam!!

Thought I was buying tickets through…

Thought I was buying tickets through Ticketmaster but apparently it was through these dirt bags. They overcharged me which they're only supposed to sell them for face value which these were not face value. Plus charged me a service fee and a shipping fee when the tickets aren't even being shipped to me. Their mobile tickets in my phone. This is ridiculous. Trying to get information has been even more ridiculous. Watch who you're buying from. Watch re watch. Read all the little fine print cuz they'll get you!

Terrible run 🏃‍♂️

Terrible. My underage son made an unauthorized purchase of tickets using my phone. Immediately after I noticed I emailed customer service. Their response the following day was they understand how disappointing I am but they cannot help but I’m welcome to try reselling tickets that can’t be resold. Will call tickets can’t be resold. Useless to have the title client support when you don’t support clients. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM HERE. Oh and side note I checked the price of the same tickets from the venue itself and the price was 1/3 of the cost from this site. BUYER BEWARE

Not a scam

I had purchased tickets well over a year ago (the concert was canceled, and rescheduled) which had a delivery date 2 days before the show. Worried, I did some research, and found many venues will release tickets late due to security reasons. Some just 24 hrs in advance.

However, once the due date expired, panic ensued. I noticed on, Event Tickets where I originally purchased the tickets , contact information for the seller, My Ticket Tracker, and I immediately went on the web to check them out.

Much to my horror there were literally hundreds of negative reviews, with each platform giving an average rating just over 1.0. Many wishing they could enter a zero, and pages suggesting that, My Ticket Tracker was a scam.

I attempted to reach out through the contact form, and emailed a couple of times, and never received a reply. A recurring theme was the horrible custom support, so I was not surprised. However, I was surprised when I attempted contact via phone, and a representative answered within minutes. There are frightening stories of listening to mandolin muzak while waiting for hours. I went through pages of these negative reviews from different sites.

Had I received a reply to my original contact, and emails, I would have added a star to my review. The representative on the phone was encouraging, trying to alleviate my fears, assuring me that he saw no reason that I wouldn't receive the tickets that very day. The 2 day deadline had passed, and it was now a day before the event. I think many of the negative reviews could be jumping the gun, and posting before the very late tickets arrive. One reviewer posted, saying it was 2 hrs before the event, and he still hadn't received his tickets.

One thing that bothers me is that the representative for, My Ticket Tracker suggested that if they didn't receive the tickets by 8:30 AM, they would cancel the order from their supplier. What could possibly be the reason for this action? I can only surmise, that it's a fictitious excuse for not supplying me the tickets since they managed to sell them to someone else at a substantially higher value. Along with the excuse that he provided that their supplier was having difficulties at their end (Ticket Master?). Checking on sites, tickets were going for substantially higher prices the closer the concert got to the sold out show. Since none of the resale platforms list seat numbers, nor seller, what's to stop them from listening the seats on several sites, and selling to the highest bidder.

I asked what happens in the case that they cancel at 8:30, and he suggested that they would try to provide me with alternate seating. This is a major complaint where unsatisfied customers were provided seats in cheaper sections, contrary to seats mentioned at purchase. I myself was provide seats in another section, without being asked, but, was lucky enough to be satisfied with the new view, and site lines.

Many of the complaints were with regards to trying to cancel the orders. Buyers remorse. Which makes me wonder why, My Ticket Tracker could cancel their order from their supplier. These stem from complaints with regards to the ridiculous markups, and service fees. I walked into this asking whether I was ready to fork out the listed total price to see a once in a lifetime, probably sold out concert to, Springsteen (with the E street band!) Damn straight, I have never seen him live in my 63 years.

Another repeated complaint was the tickets provided would not allow entry. These are apparently fraudulent tickets perpetrated by this scam, which sometimes included, Event Tickets. My tickets explicitly say that print screens, nor, hard copies will be accepted. This makes absolutely sense since these could be copied, and sold. Which leads to a problem that I had at the door. Wifi is needed to view the tickets, and I have none, but, the venue had free wifi which my phone couldn't detect outside the doors where they were taking tickets. We were directed to the Ticket Master booth, where they transferred the tickets to my wife's phone, who has data, and we managed to set our sorry butts down 2 songs into the show. After a 3 hour performance, this was not an issue.

So, these guy's are legit in an unregulated cowboy industry. Buyer beware in the overpriced, corporate scalping industry.

From my POV, it was one of the best, if not the best concert that I've ever seen, and well worth the aggravation.

I wish there was also a zero star…

I wish there was also a zero star option! Like anyone else here, I feel scammed! It is clear that they are using false algorithms to make it to the top of the search engine. First, I was never notified about the 63 USD service fee on top of an already exorbitant, highly priced ticket at 198 USD compared to similar tickets at 88 CAD! I only learned about this fee after I had clicked on PayPal for payment. The total was showing 198 USD, but I got charged 261 USD! Also, the event is scheduled for November 22 and the estimated SHIPMENT date is the day BEFORE the event which is the 21st! Am I supposed to be sitting tight here and hope that a ticket shipped to Canada the day before should be received in my mailbox by the next day!! This is ABSURD. It's almost like they want to make sure I don't make it the performance while I have been ripped off already. Every time I contacted them I got some non-sense response like "We are sorry that you can't make it to the event. We understand that things happen and your plans may have changed ....."
