I'm posting this to warn others about my experience with Telfon.

I purchased Telfon's 7-day trial because I needed a French virtual phone number.

After activating the trial, I attempted multiple times to obtain a French number. Every attempt failed. I never successfully received or purchased a phone number. The only thing I ever paid for was the 7-day trial, but I was never able to use the service I signed up for.

Believing I might have been using the app incorrectly, I contacted customer support. Rather than resolving the issue, they explained how to use the app and also instructed me on how to cancel the trial. I followed their instructions exactly.

On the same day, I:

Cancelled the trial.

Deleted my account.

Uninstalled the app.

Requested a refund.

Despite never receiving the service I paid for and cancelling immediately, my refund was denied.

I also found the platform extremely difficult to use. The cancellation process was not user-friendly, and I had to contact support just to find out how to cancel my trial.

In my opinion, this is an unacceptable business practice. Customers should not be charged for a trial they cannot use, especially when they report the issue immediately, follow the company's own cancellation instructions, and still have their refund refused.

I'm now disputing the charge through Google Play.

If you're considering Telfon, I'd recommend proceeding with extreme caution. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please share it below. I'd like to know whether this is an isolated incident or part of a wider pattern.
