Having operated a node for a year, I made the decision to shut it down due to concerning developments in my personal network and digital security.
Notably, I fell victim to a Facebook hack, and there was even an attempted breach of my password manager (Bitwarden).
It's worth noting that these security incidents began after I became a node operator. My theory is that being a node operator might entail sharing your local network, potentially providing skilled hackers with access to your data. As a result, I cannot recommend running a node on any device that connects to your personal devices or network even though it has been profitable, this is the end for me.

Kindly let us clarify a few technical details about how our software works: Mysterium Nodes has built-in protection which restricts any external access to local subnets/provider networks. It's 100% impossible for us or any third party to access your local network or personal data by using Mysterium Nodes.
Mysterium Nodes apps only share unused internet bandwidth with user-selected partners and nothing else.
Commonly, the security issues you're facing may be due to your email being in a leaked database. You can check your email address here: haveibeenpwned.com. Additionally, we suggest making sure you're not reusing the same password on multiple sites.

my frustration and disappointment with the lack of assistance I have received regarding my issue. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch with your support team, I have not been provided with a satisfactory solution to my problem.
I understand that technical difficulties can arise, but I am dismayed by the lack of urgency and follow-up in addressing my concerns. I have provided all the necessary information and have followed all the instructions provided, yet my issue remains unresolved.
