Adam Fletcher made the process smooth…

Adam Fletcher made the process smooth and stress free.

Adam Fletcher made me feel comfortable from the very beginning and that’s extremely important to me. If I don’t feel at ease, I find it hard to answer questions or open up. But Adam created a calm, supportive environment and explained everything clearly without rushing me.

He listened, properly explained the questions, and allowed me the time I needed. That made a huge difference. The whole process felt easy and respectful because he took the time to understand me, not just tick boxes. Really appreciate that.

Great doctor, assessment experience mixed. Forms need a rethink.

Reassessment questions ambiguous, open to interpretation and repetitive.

The emails I received after booking my assessment notifying me that the time to submit my pre assessment paperwork had expired and the time to cancel had expired caused me panic as they were so urgent I thought I’d forgotten to do something or had missed my appointment, which given the traits of ADHD is quite stressful.

The link for the assessment that was emailed didn’t work which made me stressed beforehand and meant I couldn’t use my laptop. I had to use the link I had received by text instead and so hold my phone throughout.

The video and audio quality of the assessment was really poor. The screen was grainy and the audio quiet, with lots of noise that sounded like the microphone was being knocked or scratched yet the doctor couldn’t hear it.

The doctor was very friendly, calm, patient and compassionate, which I was really grateful for as some of the content was emotional and difficult to discuss. The assessment itself was very thorough and detailed.
The process is defined clearly and I’ve been well guided as to each step but the urgency to complete forms in a tight timeframe could be difficult for some.

We aim to make things as clear as possible, which is why we send reminder emails about paperwork, cancellations, and rescheduling, and advise patients to test their audio/video beforehand.

We also appreciate your comments about pre-assessment timeframes. Patients choose their own appointment date online, and while a few days may suit some, others may prefer longer — so we encourage choosing a date that allows enough time to complete forms comfortably.

Adhd assessment

From day 1 to finally getting a diagnosis, the communication between mypace and myself has been top class. Ive annoyed them with questions and have always got a response promptly. My assessment was conducted by Dr Saleem. He was very good and made me feel at ease during the assessment, his kind and caring nature let me relax during it and I was completely trusting in what I was saying was being taken on board. Post diagnosis the communication was kept up where I was told exactly my next steps. From diagnosis to medication it was approximately 2 weeks which is very good. Changed my life for the better. Couldnt recommend mypace enough.

An Empathetic and Thorough Assessment

Dr. Younus Saleem was incredibly thorough with my ADHD assessment, guiding me through the process whilst being very patient and understanding.

There has been a lot of negative coverage on private ADHD clinics these past few years, but MyPace has been great for me so far, and I am eager to get started with the treatment process!

I had an appointment with Dr Kamila Haider. Dr Haider was incredibly kind and patient with me, and managed to give me an ADHD diagnosis during the session. I feel so relieved after the session, and I have no regrets about doing this. Would recommend♥️

I want to give a huge thank you to Omar Khan at MyPace for his exceptional support.

When you can get a hold of them they’re…

When you can get a hold of them they’re fine & seem professional but if you engage this company you will have to chase them up to do absolutely anything including sending out prescriptions in a timely manner often leaving gaps in treatment which they don’t seem to care about. They won’t answer their phone 9 out of 10 times and despite ownership raking in private fees they seem to invest almost nothing on core admin which is so lacking it’s practically nonexistent & actually quite shocking a medical care org can operate in such a shell manner. Incredibly frustrating.

We do advise our timeframes clearly for prescriptions and we advise patients to book in accordance with this should they wish to avoid any gaps in their treatment. Whilst we aim to ensure the prescriptions are processed and expedited where possible when required, we cannot guarantee to expedite prescriptions for patients and therefore must advise you allow the full advised timeframe for the prescriptions to be dispatched.

We’re pleased to hear that your interactions with the team, when contact is made, have been positive and professional. Our phone lines can be busy at times, but please be assured that if you leave a voicemail the team will respond to your query within one working day. This was my second 6 month review with…

This was my second 6 month review with my pace and it was great. My doctor was thorough asking me about my last 6 months , how things were good or bad anything we need to discuss or change etc. my shared care agreement works well with My pace and my own GP practice I have never had any issues so far and I’m happy. The clinic have always been helpful and I have really had a positive experience since the very beginning 2 years ago when I first contacted the clinic.

Great experience

Great flexibility it terms of time was able to get same week weekend appointment. Even mid week had times late in the day which is great so did not interrupt work.

Kamila Haider was very helpful and informative. While discussing meditation also made clear importance of diet drinking water sleep etc. It is also the lowest cost I have seen for this type of treatment and definitely worth the price.

I would not recommend MyPace

My experience with MyPace was brilliant until I realised my ADHD diagnosis was filled with spelling errors. As I am waiting for an NHS referral, this needs fixed as I cannot see MHS doctors trusting a report filled with errors. Have complained over a month ago with no resolution. I have stated to MyPace I will now call and email everyday until this is resolved but it is very hard to get through to them via them. My mental health is deteriorating directly due to their actions.
