The food arrived promptly and was well packaged. Of the dishes tried so far, the ingredients are good and the portions quite generous. Some dishes - butter chicken, for example - were a bit spicier that the guide would lead you to expect.

The website is not updated and therefore I was unable to place my order.
By phone call I was reassured that the starters that I wanted were in stock, but because the website was not upto date I couldn’t buy them.
Regretfully only 3 stars from me.

The items you were hoping to buy had been freshly cooked, but were not yet through our full system, and so were not yet active on the website. Very lovely recipes - some have a more generous amount of meat than others but the flavour is consistently fantastic whatever the dish.

A mixed review
We placed an order after a long gap. The team were good with communication. No issues with packing and delivery was prompt. Beef fry and chicken biriyani was very good as usual. The curry packet by has changed ; less pieces and more watery gravy. The new gongura and lamb curry is a far cry from the authentic version. There was too much bland creamy gravy. It needs to be more tangy and lively with chilli heat.

Really lovely food highly recommend
Really lovely food. A good variety, generous portions and without the synthetic sweetness you sometimes get in take away Indian food. We will be back! Service was great. We didn't have a big enough freezer for all the food for six of us and we wanted it on a bank holiday and so the owner opened specially for us in the morning to be able to go and collect. Above and beyond! We wish them every success!!

Fantastic and authentic South Indian curries
Fantastic, great selection of South Indian curries. I ordered 11 different curries. Every single one tasted as good as home made without the hassle. The fish curries are my favourite. Delivery was quick and well packaged. Highly recommended!

Fantastic little find whilst looking…
Fantastic little find whilst looking for a takeaway, was dubious at first especially naan bread from frozen but no need to worry for a second as long as you follow the instructions in the pamphlet supplied. Absolute joy to be able to pick up takeaways in advance and chuck back in the freezer once home to eat whenever you choose within an hour which to be fair is as long as delivery of fresh would take. Granted more expensive than supermarket but this is authentic restaurant food not mass produced barely there food.

Didn't know it was there
Suddenly realised the My Local shop was just over the main road from my house as I drove past.
Very helpful gentleman advised on what dishes (I don't do hot). Several choices of everything and sensible prices for the quantity. Snacks such as bhajis & a corn n chilli fritter thing.
The lamb in the hotter dish was meltingly tender as was the chicken.
Went down well at home & we will definitely use again
