SHOCKING COMPANY. Absolute farce of a company to deal with - NEVER bank with this company
Where do I start? My account was blocked and placed under review out of the blue over 5 weeks ago. Despite multiple attempts contacting them, they were useless and could not help and kept saying the relevant team would be in touch. Over 1 month has passed and still no contact or update with my funds still tied up and no access to them?? This is absolutely disgraceful and this type of customer service would never happen at any other bank/financial institution.
Will definitely be reporting this to the financial ombudsmen.
AVOID AT ALL COST

I opened an account with Guava a few…
I opened an account with Guava a few months ago, but without any warning or explanation, they blocked my account. They later claimed it was reinstated, yet I still don’t have access. Despite submitting multiple complaints, I haven’t received any response from their team. I’ll now be escalating this matter to the Financial Ombudsman.
The service from Guava has been extremely poor, and they’ve lost my trust entirely. I’ll update this post if I receive any response, but in the meantime, I’d caution anyone against opening an account with Guava if reliable access to your money is important.

Do not use this bank, they blocked my account over a month ago with funds still in the account. The customer service team is useless all they say is they can't give u information on it and it's with the relevant department that u can't contact in anyway. They constantly lie to u and tell u that u will get an email that never comes. They just fob u off constantly and are no help whatsoever AVOID at all costs or lose ya money

My account was blocked after my wages was paid into it . It’s been over a month now and till they are unable to tell me why the account was blocked. Customer service is very unhelpful and useless… I have over £1200 in my account and I can’t access it. I even told them I want the account closed and my money out , but they customer service acts like they don’t understand what am saying… it’s a terrible platform… I will never recommend it to anyone… they willl frustrate your life especially if they are your only account just like me

I’ve used Guava pay now for 3-4 weeks in my taxi business and it’s been a fantastic product and service.
VERY quick transaction time. No matter my location. Super quick customer service on the weekend when I had something to resolve.
To say nothing of the very decent commission rate. I never use Izettle nor Lopay now which are higher rates for unreliable connections and longer transaction times.
Well done Guava for a great service and product !

Great card terminal
Charles from MyGuava has helped me set my Card Machine allowing me to take payments from my passenger’s. The terminals are a great bit of kit. The rates offered by Charles are the best I’ve seen and the next day payments are a game changer for me.

Ignoring emails and communication and holding my balance of £218.90 even though I was told it would be returned to the details i provided
This is possibly the worst bank or so called bank in the uk even worst than Pockit. They do not respond to emails or phone calls and the so called account service team just completely ignores every form of communication. They always start with dear customer rest assured and all that rubbish which clearly shows they’re not even based in England.
They have held onto my money for over two weeks now and I had to make a chargeback request from my sending bank and only after that was when they started to communicate with me. I have asked my sending bank to cancel the chargeback request which they have but Guavapay has still refused to respond to my emails and send my money back.
If anything does happen to me financially will be guavapays fault. I don’t know how they are even allowed to operate like this.
Also they are not covered by FSCS money back guarantee
