Beautiful world map- lacking details found on other world maps
This is a beautiful world map, but lacking some detail that my husband's old ugly map had, which is why I purchased this one. When placing the push pins on the new map of all the places we had been, there was nowhere to place several, for example, to name only 3, Maui, Tahiti and Bora Bora were missing. Only the city of Honolulu is listed for the Hawaiian islands, no Maui, Oahu, Kauai. I sent a message asking for a replacement since they have a 30 day return policy, but they said they were unable to and explained it's difficult to balance detail with readability, so I will place my pins on some blank spots. The positive is that they responded right away provided a lengthy explanation after reviewing my comments, but seemed to misunderstand, with respect to Bora Bora and Tahiti, specifically, that I wasn't asking to list every Polynesian Island on the map, only a couple of well-known places. They said they would consider my comments for future map making. The company has many beautiful options and styles if you want your world map to look like a piece of art.
